Loved it. The video they showed at the end from the baseball game in Detroit was an amazing scene.

Yeah, I was looking up the Wiki page on the book and well, to say this is a loose adaptation would be putting it kindly. Oh well I still like this show and will be watching
Well, they haven't ruled out the organization (of sorts) or the cause, but I don't really understand how they can possibly make a multi season series out of this without having it drag along horribly.

Well, it'll be hard to make it a multi-season show if the premise remains "Flash forward."

I fear we may get a bit Prison Break with this one. But we'll see. Maybe they already have a plan just in case because everyone's future is obviously at the point of the season's end.

Unless their "out" is the FBI head (or whatever he was) asking if this could happen again. Maybe it will, though, I imagine that'll be somewhat stupid.

              We'll see. I like it.

Well, didn't lots of people say the same thing about Lost? Once they get off the island, where do they go?

                  Re: Flash Forward

                  - One of the best pilots I've ever seen in my life. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

                  - If you like Lost, you will probably enjoy this show. Penny and Charlie are in the cast and there was already an Oceanic Easter Egg last night.

                  - Goyer has already said he needs at least 3 seasons to tell his story. All the flash forwards we saw last night should be explained by the time Season 1 is over.

                  - Great ratings last night. Flash Forward won its timeslot with 12.4 million viewers.

                  - The last scene gave me the chills. I was watching it by myself with the volume up and lights off.

                  - I wasn't impressed with John Cho. I can't take him seriously when he's trying to play a Cop. I have Harold flashbacks. His character would work better if there was a more comedic part to it.

                  - For the hardcore fans, a Mosiac Collective site is already up:

So, let the discussions begin. Ignoring how the book handled it (I never read it, but I might have to now), do you think people will be able to change parts of that future or is that future written in stone?

I believe the ending of Flash Forward will be different from the book.

I'm going to predict people will be able to change parts of their future. I also believe John Cho's character isn't being honest when he said he didn't even have a flash forward/blank future.

Just like Lost, this show has the potential to be one big cluster**** down the road.
