Motorola announces the Moto Razr, coming to Verizon in November

This newest addition to Verizon's Droid lineup boasts a Gorilla Glass coated, 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display -- a first for any mobile handset -- atop a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Although the RAZR may look like a Kevlar-wrapped, slightly warped Droid X with its 7.1mm skinny silhouette and familiar topside hump, the insides tell a different tale. Joining the list of well-heeled specs, are an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p HD video, 1GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage with 16GB additional on the microSD card and an 1,800mAh battery. Moto's also included Lapdock 100 and 500 Pro compatibility, converting this latest red-eyed beastie into a power user's best friend.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818

 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Remember when i said I didn't want to spend more than $200 on a phone? My company just started offering a $150 stipend for new phones for those of us who carry smartphones.

Looks like I may be going with the Nexus Prime after all. Any thoughts from the event last night? It didn't seem like there were any major surprises.

I'm also curious how long it will be before we see ICS on the Xoom and other tablets.Comment

ICS is going to be pretty damn awesome. I definitely want a Galaxy Nexus, but I'll probably have to hold off, I just hope the scene can port ICS to the Incredible while I wait.Remember when i said I didn't want to spend more than $200 on a phone? Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Yeah, I agree. Though I would like to get official reviews/analysis of both the Galaxy Nexus and Droid Razr just compare and whatnot (battery life, camera, etc), but both sound awesome. I'm leaning towards ICS obviously, since it'll take Motorola at least 6 months to push out ICS to the Razr.

Plus there's the HTC Rezound (formerly HTC Vigor) that's been rumored to come out around now too... Good times to buy a phone!

It was hard keeping my OG Droid, but now I am soooooo glad not to have gotten a Bionic. I feel bad for people who just got one of those....Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Not too impressed eight eh Galaxy Nexus or whatever it's called. Aside from the tegra 2 chip it's not much better than my Galaxy S II. 4.6 is too big for my baby hands anyway...

If it wasn't for ICS I think I would be strongly leaning towards getting the Razr. 8mp camera, HDMI port and Micro SDCard slot.Motorola announces the Moto Razr, coming to Verizon in November
