To those thinking about the HTC One, I've had mine for nearly a month now and I love everything about it. It's super fast, has a gorgeous display and surprisingly good (though not RAZR Maxx level) battery life.

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new Android phone. You can't really go wrong with either of the newest flagships, the S4 is also a beast.

I echo what he says except as soon as Verizon gets this i'm getting out of my Sprint contract. Sprint is not performing for me in the data department at all.

Any of you Falcon Pro users check out the new beta*? My initial impressions are it definitely brings a cleaner, more streamlined appearance with the subtle changes. Seems a bit snappier on my Galaxy Nexus, not such a noticeable difference on the tablet (already smooth) but that's not a negative.

*Loving the way they've integrated beta channels with Google+ communities. Seems like a no brainer! Could probably cut down the steps from 2 to 1, or add an immediate follow link, as some people seem to really struggle with that second step heh

        Check it out

What are the functions of Kies Air other than being able to download just about all the files & folders from my phone to the computer? I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 & just now figured out how to connect my phone to Kies Air properly so I'm just wondering if there is anything more to it than just being able to transfer files.

          Thanks!

Yeah it kind of sounds like an Air Droid alternative, though maybe not quite as feature packed. Primarily being a wireless transfer tool with some additional goodies. I was using the Air Droid v2 beta for a while, and while it has some nice new features, I really didnt find myself needing them. Useful tool(s), though.

Okay, so I have a Fascinate (from the first line of Galaxy phones). It's definitely time for an upgrade. The Galaxy 4 is obviously better than the three, but would you guys say it's still the better buy at $200 than a $40-$50 gs3?

Looks like my RAZR's battery is going. Will only take a charge from my car (thinking that the car charger may have fried the battery somehow) and the performance was getting pretty sluggish since the Google Now update. Was due for an upgrade anyway so I'll be picking up the GS4 tomorrow.

Edit: Yeah pretty sure the car charger did it in. Just pulled the USB charger out and it smells burned. Wondering if it was the cigarette lighter in the car or just the USB charger adapter that went bad. Either way I'm staying away from that for now. With the GS4 battery I shouldn't need to charge mid day while driving around.

The S3 is supposed to have the multi window function correct? I got an update the day after I got the phone. My software says 4.1 2, but there's no option to turn this feature on. I have Verizon if that matters

my option to turn it on is next to the option for airplane mode on the drop down menu... otherwise if you hold the back button it should turn on... i think

That's what I've been reading but none of that is there.

I think the update happened in 2 parts for Verizon users, I would try to see if you can request the update by going into the settings and doing a software update... if you haven't tried to already.

ok, when did you get the update?

EDIT* I found that Verizon pulled the 4.1.2 update because some users were experiencing lots of different bugs (increased power drain, not able to connect to LTE, others).

Its possible you got the first half of the update and then they pulled it before you could gather the 2nd half.
