    Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

I've been having MMS sending trouble lately. Last few days. Pictures, videos, and voice notes don't go through. I turned off wifi and sent it just to try it out and it worked. What could be with the wi-fi that is causing messages to not go through, especially when I haven't really had any issue before aside from one day earlier this month?

I'm on Sprint and have tried sending to people who have different carriers too, so it's not just to one specific carrier.

AT&T at least has always had this problem, at least on my Samsung. More often than not, I get a message when I'm on wifi that says mobile data is disabled and it won't send MMS messages until I'm connected. Other times, it works just fine. Not sure why it won't just temporarily disable wifi for me, send, and turn it back on.

I just made the switch to Android.

I ordered the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, and the Galaxy S3 mini. Both should be here tomorrow.

Is the Android OS easy to figure out? I'm switching from a Windows 8 phone which felt pretty dumbed down with the lack of apps and other issues with the OS.

So I bought a S4 last night with a broken screen off Craigslist(it's not stolen, I checked) for $50. Then brought it to a phone repair shop at the mall and the damage was $250. So I'm going to get a pristine looking S4 for $300. I'm pleased.

I kind of rushed into the S3 mini. I figured I'd get an Android phone to go with my Galaxy Note. It's not a bad phone, but I'd rather put out the extra money for a phone that I'll be happy with.

                Check out New Soccer Star.

OMG this game is crack. The only way it could be better is if it were hockey.

It seems a little IAP greedy at first, but it's not too bad. There are plenty of ways to earn cash without paying real $$. You will need to shell out $1 for the Pro Upgrade to unlock the full career mode though if you like the game.

Walked into the sprint store with a rooted phone that was messed up, walked out with a new battery and a Samsung AC charger, for free.

Nice! I would go into Verizon the same way with issues and they wouldn't even know it was rooted let alone even know how to check if it was.

I just switched to the Moto X from a Galaxy Nexus and man this thing is blazing fast. I love how the kept it stock Android but added some subtle touches of their own.

Just switched from US Cellular to Verizon after 12 Years with them. I had an old Electrify M (RAZR M on Verizon), but got a Note 3. This thing is a BEAST. I immediately put my Nova Launcher theme from my old phone on it so I didn't have to deal with TouchWiz, and I'm in heaven!

Any of you with Notes that could offer any tips or advice? I've been using Android phones for about 4 years, and have the last 2 Nexus 7s. I'm comfortable with the ecosystem, but really don't want to root this thing (I already did that with my newest Nexus), and I don't think I want to do that to my new baby...yet.

Im getting a new tablet about 8 inch...

My question is do you know of any docking keyboards that are pretty thin that would work with most micro usb tablets? Similar to this

i don't think you'll find anything universal like that - the USB port location changes from device to device. most universal tablet keyboards use bluetooth but don't physically dock. you might be able to find something like that with a built in tablet stand.

I got weirdly obsessed with this game over a period of like a week. Just played it non-stop. Not really any replay value in it but the first time through it is strangely addicting.
