Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Yep that's what I meant. I thought that was the case. But with so many new ways to get a phone now I wasn't sure.
I love the Note 4 so far, but its good knowing I can just go through Motorola if I want a Nexus or Moto X.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Yep I used to work for a company doing telecommunications and we had to cover the company wide cell usage and everything it involves. That included replacing, activating and swapping out phones from the top 3 cell companies mostly.
I think ATT is the only one of those that are dependant on Sim Cards though.Comment

Depends on what you want. Nexus phones are pretty vanilla and get all the big updates first . Pure android
Note series is like the flagship phone. Does everythingComment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Yea I've read. I'm a fan of phones running smoothly and I've heard about Samsungs after a while. Don't know if that's still a problem. I'm just not a fan of coughing up $500 on one shot for like a nexus when I can get the note 5 and pay monthly for it..

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Yea I'd prefer that. It gives me the option to trade it back in and try something else down the road. Sucks that the nexus doesn't allow this even though the price isn't that bad..

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Like i said check the value of the phones after people sell them personally to see how the value lasts.
Some phones still sell for a few hundred bucks after theyve been out awhileComment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Who's your carrier? Are you switching? I just switched to at&t and if you do a 2 year contract they have the Note 4 free. I'm sure the Note 5 is great too, but when I was looking at reviews there isn't that much that's changed from the 4 to 5.
I figured I'd take the free Note 4 for now and I would have the flexibility to buy a new phone anytime.Comment

Yeah the 5s upgrade is marginal like i said enough to wait for the 6.Who's your carrier? Are you switching? I just switched to at&t and if you do a 2 year contract they have the Note 4 free. A few software tweaks and a better screen camera because of technology and no removable battery which i dont like
Other than that nothing. .not worth itComment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I'm not either but that doesn't bother me because i always buy a slim case to preserve my phones.
Good one i totally forgot to mention but i hope they dont do that next year
Only other thing is its hard to move away from a Note once you start using them because of what they are.Comment
