LOL, you must not have gone through the tutorial.

To do punctuation like that just swype it. D - O - N ' T

Swipe the apostrophe after the N. It's to the right of the space bar.

Guilty as charged on not reading the tutorial (till I read it earlier today) I was just saying that I don't like having to use the apostrophe as it's close to the space bar. But I'm getting used to it. I also love how you can make it learn words by tapping. Simply awesome keyboard app.

As for online sites I go to, check out droidforums.net That's where I heard about Swype as well as my Seido case (which I also love!)

And I was wrong earlier.. Rumor is we're getting 2.1 in a couple days!!!

I agree it should also know how to automate contractions like that. Another pet peeve of mine is double tapping the space bar not putting a period, and also there is no auto-capitalization to begin a sentence. If those two things were fixed it would be even better.

I'm def jealous of the Nexus One from an aesthetic standpoint.

If nothing major transpires between now and when it's released for Verizon I might sell my Droid on craigslist and use that towards a N1 out of contract for Verizon.

Hmmmm wow....I dont know, dont look all that pretty to me. But then again.....well damn this makes a dilema for me LOL. T mobile sucks in my area, so I roll with Verizon, however do I get the HTC Eris now or wait until the spring or early summer for the Nexus One by Verizon.

Don't worry Droid & Cliq owners, you're not going to be left in the dark. Motorola also announced that they'll be bringing both the Motorola Droid & Motorola Cliq to Android 2.1. Which means we should be able to enjoy all the goodies that made the Nexus One so jaw-droppingly sexy on our Motorola Android phones. We're definitely interested in seeing Motoblur and Android 2.1 interact, but that's a discussion for another day.

This should be renamed the Android discussion thread.

Right now I have the choice to go with the HTC Hero for Sprint or wait for another Sprint Android phone in the coming year.

I use AT&T right now and had my iPhone stolen but I'm tired of Apple controlling Jailbreaking and the App approval process. I think I'll use a crappy AT&T phone and wait until Sprint or AT&T releases something better.

EDIT: Does anyone have the Hero or have experience with it?

The Nexus One has just been given an update that allows for multi-touch capability. It really gives this device a very complete feel.

If you own the phone, be on the look out for it!

It's interesting that there hasn't been an OS update for multi touch, though there may be one in the future.

Droid already has a browser and a Multimedia app that allows for it.

Yep, doesn't make much sense. I guess Google is just going to update the Google phone and nothing else.
