For those who are interested, Floating Notifications Alpha 3 in now out too...

For those not familiar, all the info is here:

First things first. This is NOT Halo. There are no popups of the app and nor will there ever be. If that is what you are after download Paranoid Android for your phone and enjoy:) Thanks to FineTalent for the icon :D || Theme's can be found...

Just wanted to share my updated home screen

This Paranoid Android 3.56 with Halo Alpha 8 notifications. The OS logo you see to this side is a PM/Subscribed Topic notification using the newest Tapatalk (which is version 4 beta, now on the Play Store). Also using Full Screen Pie mode to eliminate the navigation buttons and the top status bar.

Just thought the actual OS logo being on a notification was awesome.

        Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

So my uncle has a setup in his house that allows for streaming over speakers from iTunes, Pandora, etc. The Pandora on an iPhone has a menu to choose which network you want to play it on and it just plays.

Tried doing the same thing in my Pandora on my Android but there wasn't that option to choose the network.

My question is, do you guys know of a way for an Android phone to connect to play wirelessly? Would love to play my stuff when I'm over there.

Sounds like he has Sonos or something similar. Like someone said above use bluetooth.

I'm not sure of the specific thing he has. It's throughout the house. All someone has to do on their iPhone is go and choose like, "iTunes 1" on the menu of all the places you can connect to or something.

Bluetooth will allow me to connect to it? Hm. Gonna have to try it, I guess.

I connect to my soundbar from my phone or tab via bluetooth yep..

Not sure about his set up, maybe its a wireless one..but this is the easiest way.

I miss TweetBot badly from iOS. Twitter clients for Android suck.

fishepa, have you tried TweetLanes? I think he's really on to something, although his updates have slowed as of late. There are some features missing but I definitely like it for a first try.

Top 3 Twitter clients gotta be Falcon Pro, Plume and Tweet Lanes, right? Tweet Lanes got welcomed update, no longer getting the refresh attempts message immediately off the bat. But I don't think Chris handles that app anymore, open sourcing the client.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who rides with multiple Twitter clients..

The only Twitter client I use (on both my tablet and phone) is Plume. I used to use TweetDeck but that sucks on Droid now.

The desktop app actually went downhill too, but the chrome extension still works perfectly for me. TweetDeck on PC and Plume on Droid - I haven't ever had any issues with Plume.
