You'll only have about 20gb of actual storage available. You should be able to find a 64gb sd card for $30 bucks. I use my internal storage for apps and pictures, porn, and movies go to my sd card. I use Spotify for music so I don't carry music locally. Also, with Google Photos, it uploads all your pictures to the cloud. Of course you can disable this. Between the internal storage and the expandable storage, it won't be an issue.

It's fast and you can do a lot of customization on it which I love. Simple things like the notification light, for gmail I have it red, regular email yellow, Facebook blue, twitter light blue and a few others. It has a gesture feature where when the phone is in Standby you draw a circle on the screen and it goes to camera, double tap screen and it turns on, draw a V and the torch "flash light" comes on. Think 2 fingers swiped up and you get music.
Have had some slight issues where notifications don't sound and I have to reboot and there was something else but nothing major. You can customize the lock screen and the buttons on the phone at the bottom, Home, Menu and back you can set them to be on the bottom of the screen and those on the phone are disabled, when doing this you can set the menu button to do a quick swipe and turn off the screen to go to sleep mode. The battery life is also pretty good on it which is cool. Love the soft Sandpaper like feel of the back cover.
Like I said love the phone and for the price you can't beat, have had it since July but all that being said I'm thinking of getting rid of it and go with the Galaxy Note 4 simply cause I'm wanting a bigger phone and like what the Note can do...have never had one.
I've actually gotten quite a few invites after the first 5 I got for buying the phone and have made about 150$ off Ebay for them. They sent me an invite couple weeks ago but only had one day for someone to claim so I gave it away. They sent me 3 more yesterday and these have a time limit of 6 days before they are gone so I put them on Ebay.Last edited by Sinner; 10-04-2014, 09:07 PM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

BTW, my Best Buy has the white and black displayed now. Definitely glad I'm going with black, loved how it looks.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I have it and love it, especially for the price. It's not perfect as one complaint from people is a yellowish tent at the bottom which my phone has. Got in contact with customer service and hey said it's because of the backlights there yada yada part of design. Maybe it wouldn't be noticed by as many if it wasn't so wide known and people reading about it.

Friends invite expired unfortunately. So now I'm scouring Ebay. Invite codes range from 15-40$. Very tempted to buy an invite because I don't know anyone else who's gotten an invite.
EDIT: Got an invite off ebay for 8$. 64GB version. Going to order later today.Last edited by SinisterAlex; 10-05-2014, 01:27 PM.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
For anyone looking at the Note 4 Best Buy deal, the $200 trade in program is only for people who are eligible for an upgrade. So if you're looking to buy the phone off contract like me, you'd better put your phone on ebay or trade it in to your service provider to use toward the Note 4.
I was quoted $154 for my iPhone 5 in store but on Verizon's website I was quoted $185. So I'm gonna push the website price when I trade it in on the 17th.
Also, what's the pre-order deposit? I went into Verizon to pre-order and they told me I had to pay the full price, but a Samsung rep at Best Buy told me $50 and I swear I heard that somewhere else, too.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
At Best Buy it is $50 You pay $50 and then they give you a $50 Best Buy gift card so I guess if you change your mind getting it through Best Buy you spent $50 on a card anyway.
At AT&T when I preordered I had to pay it all at once.Comment

Caved and bought the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Couldn't fight the temptation. Pretty awesome device. I hope it doesn't crap out in a few days like both the Nexus 7s I tried earlier this year did.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Thanks for the clarification. I'll just go in on the 17th, trade in my iPhone 5 for credit, and pay the difference. Should be right around $550 after tax.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
So I'm about to two weeks into having my new One (M8). My favorite thing so far is easily the massive improvement in battery life from my GS3.
I left for work around 10:30 last night with it at around 60%. Brought my charger with me assuming I was going to need it and ended up never having to use it. I made it home around 8 this morning with about 30% left, and this is including me playing music, using Chrome, Facebook, etc and the phone being on that entire time.
Had I been using my GS3 still, I could have left home with a 100% charge and in that same amount of time been left with the amount of charge I was left with from 60% on my One.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
