    Re: Google Chrome

    Re: Google Chrome

I used this for like a year. Loved it. Loved everything about it.

And then THIS SITE started crashing it for some reason. I have no idea why, but there was one advertisment that would never load that would cause my page to die when I was on OS.

I now use Firefox with a lot of extensions so it looks exactly like Chrome. Lol.

Do people have problems with this site sometimes? Like sometimes the Shockwire won't work or something?

nope, no problems with this site. Sometimes, randomly, some plugins will crash but it won't crash the browser.

It doesn't crash the browser for me, just doesn't load the page.

You wouldn't want to anyways. Although it is very rare now, there are still some sites and plugins that only work in IE.

As for safety, chrome seems safer than firefox. It warns me when I go on sites that have malware. One site I frequently visit, it told me not to go on. Firefox never did that.
Firefox actually does this better if you get the WOT extension that gives you a rating for each site and even lets users specifically point out malware sites.

Because of this thread I've given Chrome another shot, and am liking it a lot. The only issue I have with it, is that ESPN360 won't work in it for me, so I have to still use FF to watch the 360 games.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

espn360 works fine for me. Maybe try reloading the window, every once in a while it doesn't load on the first attempt for me.

I downloaded this media player and now it works perfectly.

I had no idea. Thanks for bringing this up.

I officially have no reason to use Firefox anymore.
