    Re: Google Chrome

    Another Chrome user myself, pretty much since the day it came out. Like most others, couldn't stand FF or IE, and haven't looked back since I switched.

        I was going to say the same thing. I bet whenever he sees that he thinks of it as a pop-up blocker notification or something.

            Is it safer than FF? I've always heard that FF is the safest of all of the web browsers so that's why I've always used it. Does it have a built in ad blocker as well? I just want to make sure it's as good or better than FF before I download it and your opinions matter most. Thanks.

              Re: Google Chrome

              I just tried out the new beta version which google claims is 30% faster than the stable copy. It is definitely slightly quicker than before.

              As for safety, chrome seems safer than firefox. It warns me when I go on sites that have malware. One site I frequently visit, it told me not to go on. Firefox never did that.

                There is also a neat feature called "going incognito," where you can essentially clear anything you browse for within that stream of browsing while still keeping all of your other stuff. For instance, say you still want all of your search info and saved stuff, but when away from the Mrs. you want to go incognito and search/save other stuff. Go on ahead haha.

                  Can you (or anyone) point me in the direction on getting this?

                  I've looked everywhere and don't see this option. Thus far the only thing I miss from FF is adblock.

                      Just checked this feature out and LOL at this:

                      Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:

                      Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys

                      Surveillance by secret agents

                          Create a new bookmark. Copy and paste the following as the URL. Then whenever you click that bookmark, it'll pop up the Delicious save menu.

                          Code:
                          javascript:(function(){f='http://delicious.com/save?url='+encodeURIComponent(window.location.href)+'&title='+encodeURIComponent(document.title)+'&v=5&';a=function(){if(!window.open(f+'noui=1&jump=doclose','deliciousuiv5','location=yes,links=no,scrollbars=no,toolbar=no,width=550,height=550'))location.href=f+'jump=yes'};if(/Firefox/.test(navigator.userAgent)){setTimeout(a,0)}else{a()}})()

                              I was using it for a while but ever since I found out about roboform I went back to FF. I can't stand typing in passwords or usernames and roboform fixes that. Not only that but it has a form filler too so it just makes doing everything a lot easier. If Chrome has something similar to that I'll definitely jump back on board.
