Re: Google Chrome
I've made the switch to Chrome, mainly because it has a MUCH smaller memory footprint than Firefox at most points in time.NFL: Green Bay Packers
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany LionsComment

Re: Google Chrome
Switched to chrome as my main browser. Firefox just loads up too slow on certain sites and uses more memory on my cpu.Comment

Re: Google Chrome
I thought I would bump an old thread instead of starting a new one.
I just recently noticed on my Google Home below the google search bar in the middle of the page about 8 different sites that I've recently visted. Two rows, 4 colums. Anyone seen or heard of this?
Anyone know how to eliminate it?
I noticed on the bottom of the page it has a link that says, Chrome Updated.
Thanks.Comment

I think Google is still working on changing this feature so hopefully it'll get better (and by better I mean make it so you can disable itI thought I would bump an old thread instead of starting a new one.

) as time goes on.
This isn't a long-term solution, but you can hover over one of the icons and a little "x" will show up.
If it wouldn't mess up any other ways you use the new tab page, you could set your homepage to http://google.com. If you want new tabs to open to google (or wherever) the New Tab Redirect extension is good.
Let me know if this doesn't work or you have any other questions.Comment

Re: Google Chrome
Only thing I don't like about Chrome is it seems to be the only browser where my login info doesn't always seem to save for certain websites. I mean for OS (and other forums), Facebook, and G-mail it works, but there are many that might not work, and it only seems to be on Chrome where that would happen.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Google Chrome
Minor thing, but in the last week or so I've lost the ability to like posts or use the drop-down menus on OS while using Chrome. No problems in FireFox. No problems at home on Safari. I had some problems on Yahoo too, so it's not an OS thing.
I disabled AdBlock - which is the only extension I'm running, but that didn't solve it. Anybody got any ideas?Comment

Re: Google Chrome
If it's the same thing I see, it's just kind of my Google Plus account. I've seen it for months.
