I haven't watched Simpsons in years, but I saw these pics and just remembered how amazing this show was..

And maybe my all time favorite..

The Radioactive Man one is just gold.

I watched a great episode last week that I haven't seen for a few years. Flanders wants his kids to play safe so he's taking precautions in the backyard. Ned starts singing 'Welcome To The Jungle" but changes the lyrics.

Welcome to the jungle gym.

I'll make it safe again.

When playtime is a safe time, everybody wins...

Now, I'll lay down some astro turf

So they don't scrape their

Kn-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-nees...

Some of my fave Simpsons moments are from Ralph.

Loved this scene when they had to go into the Witness Protection Program.

The re-opening halfway through the show is gold. Plus, the whole boat Broadway show.

The visuals are funny as well. Sign: "psychiatrist. Because there may not be bugs on you".

And the pee wee football episode with Joe Namath was a good one.

But my favorite, being an ex Navy man, was when Homer joined the Navy.

And a lot of people don't notice this, but it's one of those subtle background gags the show does so well: Homer is wearing a t-shirt that says "I'm in the witness protection program" with a hat that says "WPP."

                              Also:

Chief Wiggum: Sideshow Bob has no decency! He called me Chief Piggum!
                              [Everybody in court house laughs]
Chief Wiggum: Oh wait, I get it, he's all right.

Lawyer: Doesn't the tattoo on your chest say "Die Bart Die?"
Sideshow Bob: No, it's German. For "The Bart The."
Parole Officer: No one who speaks German could be an evil man!

Homer: [holding a large knife upside-down] BART, DOYOUWANTSOMEBROWNIESBEFOREYOUGOTOBED?
                              Bart Simpson: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Homer: Come on, let me cut you a brownie while they're still hot.
Bart Simpson: Dad, I'm kinda edgy right now. I'd appreciate you not coming into my room screaming and brandishing the butcher knife.
Homer: Why? [Looks at the large knife in his hand] Oh, right. The Sideshow Bob Thing. Oh, I'm sorry boy.
[Homer kisses Bart and leaves the room. Seconds later, Homer bursts into the room again wearing a white hockey mask and brandishing an electric chainsaw]
                              Homer: BART, DOYOUWANTTOSEEMYNEWCHAINSAWANDHOCKEYMASK?
                              Bart Simpson: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Homer: Oh, sorry. What am I thinking?

Police Chief Wiggum: You're under arrest, Sideshow Bob!
                              Sideshow Bob: BY LUCIFER'S BEARD!
Police Chief Wiggum: Uh... Yeah. It's a good thing you drifted by this brothel!

Marge: You awful man! Stay away from my son!
Sideshow Bob: Oh, I'll stay away from your son, all right! Stay away... FOREVER!
                              Homer: Oh, no!
Sideshow Bob: Wait a minute. That's no good.
                              [walks away, then runs back]
Sideshow Bob: Wait, I've got a good one now! Marge, say "stay away from my son" again.
                              Marge: No!
