Okay thanks a lot I shouldn't have no problem with them seeing it then. I didn't let them see The Dark Knight and I have my ticket for the midnight showing of TDKR to see if it will be okay before I let them see it. Some people might think I'm being overprotective but I want to protect them from as much bad stuff as I can while I still can.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
I just got back from viewing that and some fire works tonight. On the movie, it was pretty good. The reviews made it seem like it wasn't on par with the last trilogy of films.
I found it to actually be better in a lot of way. The film really reminded me of the first Spiderman movie. It hit all the same notes the first one did in terms of his development before becoming spiderman and even the same notes in terms of The Lizard.
SpoilerThe Lizard played a lot like The Goblin from the first movie. The scene where he was talking to himself underground just cemented that idea in my head. The movie felt like a better version of the first film which isn't a bad thing, but also isn't hitting new grounds.
I see where the criticism comes from, it did feel a lot like the first movie but with a darker tone. His costume....in the commercials it looked amazing...in the movie and seeing it in motion.....it didn't look as good as the costume of the first trilogy.
I'm interested to see where the sequel goes.....it should be very interesting.SpoilerDefinitely can't be Venom because his relationship with Flash was only starting to develop during the last half of the movie. It could be Norman since we know he's dying....so the Green Goblin could be an issue, plus Peter knew found out what happened to his parents nor Uncle Ben's killer

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
I thought it was pretty good, wasn't great but good. Kind of ticked off about his masked being off all the time but that's ok.
Spoiler
Just Random Banter:
So I think the dude with the star tatoo ends up being mysterio.
There was no "with great power comes great responsibility line" I'm kind of upset about that.
I think if the movie follows the ultimate marvel source Peter's dad also worked on something that led to Venom
The guy in the cell I think is Osborn

Spoilerwhen he was unmasked in the final fight or when the cops surround him, but even that moment it's not like everyone seen his identity.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
SpoilerYeah and there's only three people who know his real identity, and only one was because his mask was off (I don't count the little kid since he didn't know who Peter was) and Gwen's dad died at the end so that wasn't even a big deal. In fact, the scene with the cops was so cool cause of how hard he fought to make sure that no one saw who he was.
As far as the scene during the credits, I'm pretty sure that it's Norman Osborne. Venom is getting his own movie and the producers seem to want to keep the two franchises separate until later on down the road.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

In other news, I saw Spider-Man 3 last night and man, that movie was even worse than I remember it being.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
SpoilerI don't I just felt like I saw his face through the whole movie while he was spiderman, his mask was off in the high school fight, the police fight, the bridge like almost all of the time while he was spiderman lol. Either way still a pretty good movie, i'd like to see what happens in the next oneComment

SpoilerActually the unmasking elements i thought were fine. The the only time his mask was off was on the bridge scene and at the end of the movie.
The high school scene, he was fully masked until everyone left and The Lizard retreated. The commercials did make it seem like like his mask was off a big portion of the movie but it certainly wasn't.
And people who think the guy at the end could be Venom....how is that even possible? Venom can only be Eddie Brock or Flash right....how the heck would he make it in here so quickly?
And we all knew Norman was dying....but at that same point, the dude who took the serum from Connors was never stopped from getting it to Norman, so maybe Norman did take the serum and is in the process of becoming The Green Goblin, but how would he make it into the jail cell?Comment

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
I wasn't all that excited to see this but ended up going anyways to give it a chance. Very glad that I did. Garfield is a much better Peter Parker imo, and Emma Stone is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses. Definitely excited to see more.Comment

Can someone fill me in on the end if credits scene? I had to leave a little early...

Yeah, I've got no qualms over going to movies by myself. It was a little odd when I went to a baseball game solo about a month ago (my buddy flaked like 2 hours before and everyone else I knew had plans), but I had really good seats, no one really sat on top of me and I was able to kick back and enjoy the game, just as if I was watching it on TV.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film)
SpoilerI understood it to be Norman Obsorn, the Green Goblin in the cell with Connors. "Osborn" asks him if he told Peter the truth about his father, to which Connors says no. Connors tells the man to leave Peter alone, and then the man vanishes. I can't confirm that its Osborn though.Cleveland Cavaliers
