I liked last weeks episode minus the male nudity. Thought the Theocules (sp) fight scene was pretty cool, especially how the weather changed.

Why are people watching this on torrent sites, when Netflix has it in HD The night after it comes on! All the episodes are on Netflix....

I've watched a few so far, episode 1 was whack! Episodes 2 to 4 are good so far.

Because not everyone has Netflix or Starz or whatever other channel it can be seen on.

The twist with Barca was crazy. Ashur really worked everyone on that one. I'm sure he'll get what's coming to him sooner or later. The end certainly paints the picture that Batiatus had Spartacus' wife killed. But then again, maybe Claudius heard of the reunion and decided to put a stop to it? Either way, it creates even more intrigue toward the remaining episodes.

I've watched since episode 1 and am loving every minnute of it....then again I have a weakness for anything in this vein (Gladiator, Rome, Troy, etc).

I have to catch up. I was able to watch a marathon of the first three episodes while visiting my parents. I keep forgetting about it.

I'm watching and enjoying this as well. I just got done watching episode 5...enjoyed the battle with Theocles(ugly mofo). I'm going to watch episode 6 now.

I'm just wondering if any of you guys are still watching this or gave up on it? The episodes got a lot better after about the third one. It really started being more like Gladiator the movie than 300 (which is a good thing IMO, I loved 300 but a series based on 300 is a bit much). I caught up on this show yesterday and watched the last 5 episodes and I'm really into it now. It's incredibly violent and has a ton of sex so it's not for the squeamish but it's well worth watching for some of the battle scenes for sure (although on occasion I see effects that look just plain silly).

Anyone else still watching?

Also, did you guys hear the main star who is Spartacus has cancer so filming for season two is on hold?

Definitely still watching....best show on TV IMO. Another great episode Friday night -- but painful to watch at the end!

They caught the cancer at the very initial stages, so he should recover just fine. The have delayed the filming of season two for now so Whitfield can get treatment.

Thank goodness they caught it early. I was just telling my friend about this show and honestly I wonder how in the world this show is even on tv. I've never seen such graphic sex, violence, nudity etc, not even on HBO in some of the crazy shows they have on there. I'm amazed each week at them topping what came the week before.

Oh and I like how the series is getting to be more Gladiator and less 300'ish. It's a better direction for the series I think.
