I have the first Gen and it is great overall, but where it really shines is when you Travel. All your books, plus you can fill it up with TV series, movies, etc, makes plane trips and hotel rooms a breeze.

Hunting this thing down is going to be a pita. Went to two different best buys. Stood in line at one for about 30 minutes and was 5 people from getting a ticket. they got 15 total.

Went to another best buy and it was 300 people in line and only 100 iPads. Just ******** how two stores with almost the same amount of business get such a discrepancy in numbers. Apple store lines are out ofthe question.

Yah, I work at a Best Buy here in Dallas and we only got sent 20... oh well I guess. What's worse is employees have to wait 90 days before we can buy one

Typing this post on my brand new iPad 2. Waited from 7-10 this morning and didn't even know if they were going to get anynin stock. About 10:15 they started taking people. The first 4 people and I was then 1 person away from getting mine...

Thought they were going to come and tell us there weren't anymore becauseof how long it took. I got the last one that was wi-fi only... SUPER HAPPY!!!

Cameras suck and so do the smart covers. I'm sure you guys read the reviews of the cameras and the smart covers are just a friggin gimmick. Then way the smart cover works as a stand in portrait mode ismjust a joke... It's almost impossible to type on without thinking you're going to top the thing over.

I went with an incase sleeve that came with one of those bending stands and that is far enough for me.

Compared to the first iPad the speed is night and day when it comes to opening apps. Facely hdmfor Facebook used tomtake about 7-8 seconds to completely load with iPad one and on here it's damn near instant. Safari is a lot faster than it was on the original but it might just be the changes that the made on 4.3. I'm not having th issue of safari reloading tabs every time you switch bad and forth between them and for some reason that was a major gripe of mime from the first iPad.

FaceTime quality is better on the iPhone 4 than here... Probably just because of the cameras but even the person chatting with doesn't look all that clear.

Other than the cameras and the speed everything is pretty much the same if you ask me... Oh and this thing feels slot better than the first one. Competitors are going to have hell with this... It just feels so right in my hands now...

I'm having problems with iPad 2 recognizing wifi signal, it says it connected, but when I get on safari it's say not connected to Internet, any suggestions

Spiderman Total Mayhem is only $.99 and it's a great game for kids and adults.

Osmos is only $.99 today. It's gotten almost a perfect 5 stars.

Shape It HD is a free game that's a lot of fun.

iBasket Pro is pretty addicting. Gets you in the mood for the the NCAA tournament.

Some great ones for the kids are Glow Burst, Little Things, BClassicLite, Wackamonsta, Fruit Ninja HD Lite....

That was a problem withnsome of the first iPads as well. Might be a firmware update fix. It happened to me with my og iPad and I just reset it to stock network settings and it was all good from there.
