OK...we watched all but the first nine minutes...can anyone give a full synopsis of the whole premiere? We think we got the gist of it, but my wife [mostly, LOL] missed a lot. Just like 'The Sopranos', so many details are in the dialogue bits, however brief, I know we BOTH missed things.
However, the one thing she didn't miss, was the typical gratuitious, and the violence against women, which stick out like brightly colored kites on a windy day to her.
Overall, we'll watch again. I greatly enjoyed it, and once someone can explain the nuances to the misses, she'll be on board as well.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

I liked it. They did a very nice job with the sets. I will have to watch it again because I want to get all the characters down again and try to figure out exactly why the Italian guy was whacked at the end.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Pay attention to the convo between Jimmy and Al Capone when they introduce themselves. Capone tells Jimmy that Carlisimo (the Italian guy) doesnt want them to get involved with the liquor business and that he is happy just running whore houses. Torrio (the guy who played Butchie in the Sopranos) and Capone have Calisimo whacked so that they can go ahead with bootlegging.
