Re: Breaking Bad Season 3- Debuts March 21st

You guys have seen him obsessing over every little thing all throughout the series, right? Just a few episodes ago he was single-mindedly fixing that table leg in the waiting room. He's that type of guy. I don't see the fly thing as out of character. He's slowly unwinding as he realizes he's made a series of terrible mistakes... that scene in the car last week where he nearly smashed in to the semi was the same thing. Working on little sleep and all the other stresses he's currently under would be enough to make anyone a little kooky, and he was already an obsessive perfectionist type of guy to begin with. The fly also gave him something to focus on other than the fact that he's making tons of a deadly chemical for not enough money, has ruined his family and his legacy, and will likely end up dead thanks to either cancer or a drug cartel in short order.

You guys will look back over the season after it's done and realize that an episode like that was needed. Personally, I know I'll look back and realize that over the 3 seasons, I've just watched the best 25-1/2 hour movie I've ever seen (with more to follow)!

Nice memory! The only thing upsetting to me was the way the previews for this episode were very misleading. I was expecting a major breakdown between Walt and Jessie based off of the two "dramatic" scenes showed in the preview the week before. I think they are just preparing us for an incredible final three episodes. While I'm not too sure if next weeks will be as action packed as some previous ones, I'm very positive the final two will be insane. I'm expecting some major cliff hangers and possibly the death of a character.

            My prediction:
            Spoiler

That, plus bearing the guilt of starting a chain reaction that led to the deaths of hundreds.

I almost forgot to add this. Apparently Breaking Bad has been canceled by AMC but is moving to ABC effective immediately. Here is a sample scene:

                  Spoiler

This was "ok" in the beginning, but the laugh track didn't seem to fit even with the edits. They needed to montage some other scenes that could potentially have been comedic moments.

I saw it. Much better than the previous 3 episodes for sure. You can get a sense that they are setting up for something REALLY big to go down over the course of the final two episodes of the season.

P.S. I hate Skyler with every fiber of my being.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 3- Debuts March 21st

wow. I love how Saul think's which ends up in his dialogue like
                        "We don't have a Danny!"

What's up with Skyler? She's like trying to empower herself or admitting to herself it's no different than what she was doing with the other company?

Why does she want to be the Danny. (was it danny of jimmy lol)
I know that there's something she finds extremely sexy about the whole thing, but that's not enough to risk family over. Why is she taking this leap? I think it's fascinating because I can't articulate it - I get it to some extent but can't describe it.

Gus....lol...huge as usual, but "don't make the same mistake twice" ... alluding to a 2nd relationship with Skyler? Letting Jesse count? ...

And what's on Jesse's mind? Redemption...what is he going to do?
One disappointment for me was I wanted him to look at the meth so we could see if it was his meth.

hank's kind of out of the picture imo.

Just a bunch of new question.

this whole show was just a setup for the next couple.

looking forward to it and I enjoyed this one.

I'd venture to say because it turns her on, and because they need the money. I believe she is beginning to realize they are going to need that money: for Hank, for the mortgage, for their children, for college tuition.

I'd venture to say he is going to kill the two guys in the black car, for: 1) killing his friend (the fat guy); 2) bringing Tomas into the street dealing business.

well I thought about that too, but he better have a good plan instead of blazing in like some hero or he's toast.

Well, I'd say he has something cooking ( ). His plan to draw out the top-dogs (guys in car) was pretty smart, so I'd say he's got something up his sleeve.

I don't think he knew how the operation worked. He didn't know that he had to give the guys in the car the money. After he did, his first reaction was that he got ripped off.

Also, remember, Jesse is not really a killer. I keep thinking back to the episode when Walt made him confront the two neglectful meth heads with the little child. He couldn't even do a good job then. It would be out of character for Jesse to become something different now.
