Awesome. Very anxious to hear what it sounds like. I just hope it's not one of his typical radio type songs.

I keep telling people, Em didn't get worse, he and the producers decided that his wack **** was the most popular, so that's what he does. He himself has the ability at any moment to top the Eminem show, or be on par with the Slim Shady LP. In fact, his use of metaphor is more ridiculous on this one than it's ever been. SMH, producers. Let the real Slim Shady stand up, please.
True that Born, lot of my friends were like man Em has fallen off, he's not the same way used to be. I'm always tellin them its not him really its the style he's using. He was playing around on Relapse and Encore for the most part and I think it was mostly due to his problems in life.

He didn't want to go in his hardest because he was goin thru a lot and would rather do what was safe for him mentally. He had a lot of issues he could have talked about concerning Proof and the addiction thing but I dont think he was ready at the time.

Now it seems like he's "recovered" and he's ready to unleash all those emotions on this new album. Songs like underground and 3 am were probably really safe in comparison to the stuff he may drop on this album haha!!

So i'm excited I just hope he finally decides to give it his all on this like on the slim shady and marshall mathers LP's. And you are right about his lyrical ability it has definitely improved since the SSLP.

I think that's to be expected though. Each one of his albums has had the "first single/comedy/goofy" song and it's always been the first to come out.

Slim Shady LP: "My Name Is"
Marshall Mathers LP: "The Real Slim Shady"
                The Eminem Show: "Without Me"
                Encore: "Just Lose It"
                Relapse: "We Made You"

Yeah, that's my point. I'll be curious if he breaks that trend.

THIS is the Em that I used to know. He was straight up spittin' on that one. Damn! Can we get that as a bonus track on the album?

                        Sick.

I actually enjoyed Relapse, but I agree he's capable of much more. I just think that style sells a lot more than serious Em.

Yea I don't really mind 1 or 2 tracks like that. I was listening to the Slim Shady LP earlier today and My Name Is... is pretty much the only track on there. There may be a couple others that could classify, but neither of them has him spitting in a ****** accent, just strange content (as expected).

If his album is like this, I will buy it.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

I'll buy it regardless. Em is the only artist that I ever purchase every CD. He deserves every dollar paid out. Dude is just an insane lyricist. I'll buy this one, just as I've purchased all his others.
