I found this to be his worst album to date. Then again im not much of a fan of his anyway. Lyrically its 5/5 but the beat selection and hooks are awful.

My Review

My ratings for each song:

Cold Wind Blows - Good intro letting them know he's back 4/5

Talking to Myself - Wasn't really feeling the chorus for an Em track, but liked the honesty he displayed discussing how he was ego trippin. 4/5

On Fire - Another straight spitting track, though he's not really saying much. 4/5

Won't Back Down - Another spitting track, though I wasn't feeling his screaming delivery as much or the rock-ish vibe. 3/5

W.T.P. - Goofy party type song, but his flow stands out on here. 4/5

Going Through Changes - Basically discussing his drug habit and everything that's been going on in his life. 5/5

Not Afraid - Everyone has heard this one. 3.5/5

Seduction - Flow is bananas on this one! 5/5

No Love - Not a Weezy fan, but he did his thing on here, then Em comes in and rips it. 5/5

Space Bound - Another song displaying his crazy flow, talking about 5/5

Cinderella Man - The only song I'm not feeling that much, though it's not for a lack of lyricism...it's the chorus. 2.5/5

25 to Life - A concept song with a tight flow (most of the songs on this album, Em is ripping with the fast flow) 5/5

So Bad - The only Dre beat on the album. It's straight. 3.5/5

Almost Famous - Em kills another song 5/5

Love The Way You Lie - Rihanna track. Decent song...could be filler, but it's not poppy at all aside from Rihanna being popular. 3/5

You're Never Over - Sends Proof off right on this one. Great tribute. 5/5

Untitled - Decent, but not the best song or anything. 3/5

I wanna say this is Em's most consistent album. It's probably the one Eminem album I can listen to straight through. And even though I'm not feelin "Cinderella Man" right now, he's at least spittin on here and not talking silly stuff like past skippable Em tracks. Slim Shady is dead on this album. He's all about murdering tracks and trying to regain his respect as an MC on this LP.

Top 3-4 Eminem album...4.5 mics out of 5

Through six songs, some of the hooks and intros are kind of annoying, but Eminem's verses are un-freakin-real.

No it doesn't LOSE any points. 3.5/5, or 7/10 is still a decent score. It's just not a standout track. Eminem has MUCH better songs than "Not Afraid," not to mention, I could do without the bridge on the latter part of the song.

That's my thoughts on the whole album. Some annoying hooks, some very nice (not all great imo) beats and Em is back at the top of his game and just kills it.

Is it the same beat? I'll have to go back and listen to Deja Vu.

I've always had this thing about singles....if it comes out a few weeks or more before the album I almost 100% sure skip it when it comes on anyway. So I barely count them.
