Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
This is so Amaechi. Sprint has unlimited everything for $69 easy. What in the world is wrong with this company that they can't step up their game and improve their 3G network? AND THE FREAKING TETHERING IS $20?? GTHOH!! I'm unlocking this sucker.Comment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
well, it's good news for a lot of people too. A lot of people don't use very much data but are forced to pay $30. But I am sure this is because their network can't handle all the iPhones !My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
It is designed to get those big users off of AT&T. They will lose money for all the people who switch down. They will though get more people to buy at the lower price and they will have a lot more bandwidth to support more users when they get the illegal users off. I say illegal because if you are using more than 2GB, you most likely are tethering and that is not legal under AT&T contract.Comment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
I think people are overreacting a little. If you are already an ATT customer you will still get your unlimited plan even if you re-up your contract. ATT has problems with 3G in the New York and San Fran and ATT doesnt get a lot of money from the Iphone since Apple takes all the money from apps and such.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
I love my sprint data plan and I love my blackberry. Having said that I am jealous as hell of all iphone owners but I won't pay for ATT's or Verion's expensive data plan. This move by ATT was done partly to attract customers like me. If I find that the tiered data plan with ATT makes more fiscal sense I may make the switchComment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
Thank God I should be grandfathered in. In just a little over two days, I've used 29.76MB. I'd easily go over the 200MB limit about halfway through the month.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

As long as I can keep my $10 a month unlimited for my Vu I will be happy.Comment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
Then again I get a 25 percent corporate discount with sprint so I may not switch eithet way. Everyone saying this is the death of ATT wireless is fooling themselves. Why should texters and infrequent web surfers continue to subsidize yor over use of ATT's data network?Comment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
Wow that sucks. I use my iPhone for just about everything. I rarely use the computer at my house, I just use my iPhone. I hope when my contracts up I can keep an unlimited plan. I use over 2GB a month..
If this is the case, I hope another company can get the iPhone. If they have an unlimited data plan, I will be jumping ship.NFL: Green Bay Packers

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks
MLB: Chicago CubsComment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
I've realized that I've been using Wi-Fi more than the 3G. The only time I use the 3G is to use some of the applications. I guess it would be nicer. I reset my user data stuff so I'll know how much I pay a month. I kind of wish that the tethering thing would have been thrown in there. Why does their network suck so much?Comment

Re: AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans, Announces Tethering for iPhone
So does the data equal both the sent and received in AT&T's view? I might have to really rethink this. Could be a huge reduction in our bill. Heck, I wish they had an affordable family discount for the data plan. Pennies add up........Comment
