Yeah, the Kanye songs were given after seeing the tv trailer spot and I was surprised to hear a Deadmau5 song in the movie. It went with the scene lol

Also, did anyone catch the Macho Man poster that was in Alan's room at the beginning of the movie? Kind of a coincidence with what happened and how the movie randomly had his picture.

I saw this last night and found it to be exactly like The Hangover. Same type of humor, just as funny, no real point.

Not that I'm upset about it not having a point. I fully expected to go in and just laugh and I did. I laughed just as much as I did for the first one.

I think it helps that the film is straight up parodying itself. It brings you back to what you liked about the first one while adding new elements to the sequel because even though this happened again, they aren't as clueless about it the second time - ie: immediately thinking to check the roof for their lost friend. Of course The Wolfpack still finds itself in similar situations but with slight alterations.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Loved it, saw it last night with a bunch of buddies.
Was it the exact same plot as the first one??

Liked it, didn't love it. Not better than the first IMO.

I had a lot of laughs but, not to many gut busting laughs that I had with the first one. I had to many chuckles and smiles and not enough OMG that was a knee smacker type laughs.

Also loved the monkey. I know he takes the place of the baby from the first movie but, that was a pretty awesome monkey lol.

This one was a little dumber but I thought it was just as funny. The first few minutes of the movie I didn't laugh at all and I was thinking, "Wow, this could be really, really bad."

Thankfully it improved when Alan appeared and didn't let up for the rest of the movie.

It was funny. I was hoping for a Super Sequel, but I'll settle for entertaining and funny.

I thought it was just as good, if not better than the first one. Probably the most laughs I've heard in a theater for a movie I've seen.

Also if the theaters around me are any indication this movie is going to put up some huge numbers. I got to the theater at 9:30 and both the 10 and 10:30 shows were sold out, which is a first for the theater I went to. The 11:20 showing which I went to sold out also. For stuff like Fast Five, Thor, and Pirates I was able to get tickets no problem.

It was pretty good! Not as good as the 1st one but that's only because the first one was so unexpected. Going into the sequel, you kind of knew what to expect.

However, there are still some nice little "surprises" that come up that were not in trailers.

I still find it very funny!

Yeah same thing happened to me! I was trying to see a 950 movie but they only had the 11:10 time available.

Kind of. It's different in a way because there are new events that happen to the characters. Some of them, you don't see coming. I'm not gonna spoil it though.

Um. That was the point. You could have seen the previews and he clearly says, it happened again.

                          The movie is hilarious.

pretty decent movie - definitely had some points though where I was just ready for it to hurry up and get over with. I knew it exactly where it was going and it bordered on cheesy and just too ridiculous at some points the way things were carbon copied.

lots of laughs throughout though. However...around the 70 minute mark or so I could feel the excitement in my theatre almost completely gone. The laughing out loud had mostly stopped. I think there was a general sense of "this is kind of stupid and dragging." I'm kind of a movie snob but I could sense that in my theatre.

I thought the ending (before the camera roll) was incredibly stupid and showed zero effort. Like...nobody cared about what had happened to Teddy? Or about Stu's tattoo? Really?

Tough to tell but I think the legacy of this film will be that its mostly forgotten - to be a classic comedy you have to be original, and this has nothing original about it...which I kind of knew going in, but I had free tickets. It is what it is though, lots of hilarious moments, mostly pathetic story

Just read an interview from Brad Cooper.

He said they wanted to do it similar to the first one to get the know the characters better.

He said if and when they do 3, it will be much different because you know the characters much better.
