    Re: The Walking Dead

I just caught the second episode last night. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire hour. I love this show. There's not a single bad thing I can say about it at this point. I can't wait until next week.

Great news about Season 2 even though I figured it was inevitable.

I LOVE how they're pushing the bounds of what can be put on cable TV not only with the content (language, sexual stuff, etc.) but with the gore...it's awesome. Just to expand on that...

        Spoiler

Anyhow, all episodes of this show will def. be staying on my DVR until it hits DVD...love it.

I love me some Dexter and Fringe. My two favorite non-comedies on television. But Walking Dead is the only show I want to watch again after it airs. I would sit down and watch the entire pilot again without hesitation.

Keep in mind that this is very rare for me. I will not watch an episode twice (probably why I dont own season discs) because I rather spend the time watching something I haven't seen.

AMC as a whole has really pushed the boundaries with their shows, but they don't force it in order to do that.

Yankee, do you watch Mad Men? I feel like I have to watch an episode twice before all the subtlies come out.

Not yet. I am hoping to start soon. I saw the first four episodes, but at the time Blockbuster never had Disc 2 so I ended up waiting and waiting and giving up. Right now I'm watching Season One of Breaking Bad and following The Walking Dead (obviously).

But, yea, my goal is to catch up on everything AMC before Mad Men season five and Rubicon season 2. Not sure I'll get there, but I hope so.

Mad Men's pilot episode I watched three times just because it was so great.

Yea, just announced. Well, that confirms watching Season one would be a waste of time if I can't even find out what happens after the plot is revealed.

I finally caught the first episode. Incredible. That was easily one of the best first showings I can think of.

I just finished it. This is by far my favorite show on TV. I just read where they are extending it to a second season. Great show.
