Yeah your right some people don't want to be spoiled and I need to be more respectful and responsible with my post. My apologies, I will do better.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

I expected it, but that probably should have been in spoiler tags from the outset. We're cool though.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
Anybody other than me going to watch the series pilot tonight before they get started with the last 5 episodes next week?

Re: Smallville Season 10
As the final episodes of "Smallville" draw near, executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders participated in a few interviews this week.
SpoilerTVGuide.com:
Clark has a few enemies to take on before the end of the series (Darkseid, Lionel, Lex and Zod). It seems like he's taking on a lot in just six episodes.
Souders: And I think that is honestly a bit of what his dilemma becomes, which is he is so focused on becoming the man he knows he is supposed to become that he's kind of living in the future, to be honest, and so it's really about how do you become that person that you know you're destined to become. That's really the question circling him.
Entertainment Weekly:
Dying of sadness over Smallville coming to an end? Well, don't die yet! There's too much great stuff ahead - like the May 6 episode, "Prophecy," which finds Clark (Tom Welling) all dressed up (in a suit!!) to take fiancée Lois (Erica Durance) to the Fortress of Solitude to break the news of his impending nuptials to his biological father, Jor-El, the tough-loving Kryptonian. "It's a very sweet, romantic scene that has a little surprise in it," teases exec producer Brian Peterson. When Jor-El sets out to teach the pair a lesson, Lois and Clark "find themselves kind of living a day in each other's shoes." AKA: Power up, Lois!
"I think Jor-El's parenting style has always been about making Clark learn lessons for himself. And this is an episode where he is sharing that lesson not only with Clark, but also with Lois. And so it's about seeing Lois as a possible life partner for Clark," he says.
Entertainment Weekly again:
"What we really tried to do is create a finale that pretty much stands on its own for anybody who has ever watched any episode of Smallville, to tune in and watch the finale. And for the hardcore fans that have seen every episode, there are a lot of little nuggets and little payoffs all along the way," he said. "That's been our goal for the finale."
TVSquad.com:
Is there one moment in particular from the upcoming episodes that you're excited for fans to see?
Gosh, that's a hard one. There are a lot of really poignant moments; I think that's one of the things that I'm enjoying. Even though on one side, there are more sort of power-focused, "becoming Superman" climaxes along the way as we head toward the very end, there's also, on the other side, a lot of emotional ones. So there's literally something in every episode.
Smallville" returns with an all new episode titled "Kent" on Friday, April 15th at 8.00pm on The CW.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Smallville Season 10
LOL, so the show will just be a 10 year tease to Superman fans. I'll be honest, the earlier seasons were quite good but its done nothing but disappoint me since. The homecoming episode was great this year but then at the same time it just highlighted what the show could be. Oh well, we have a new Superman movie on the way, hopefully kick starting a great new franchise.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
Just watched the the show from Friday night. Wow it was great one of the best they've had. The interaction between Clark and alternate world Jonathan Kent was very bitter sweet. I would give this show a 10/10“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Smallville Season 10
If they took out all the cruddy episodes over the years, they probably could have ended this 2 seasons ago.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
Well, they went the 20+ episode per season route, and had to draw out certain things because they didn't know how long the show would last. They certainly had no clue it would go 10 seasons.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
Yeah hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure Smallville could have been totally brilliant if limited to 4 or 5 seasons. After season 6 things really started to feel stretched to me. They started catering to comic fans by bringing in some great DC references but that just highlighted that we still had a Superman show without a Superman. Frustrating.Last edited by Guffers; 04-20-2011, 12:31 AM.Comment
