Didn't like the ending. Mainly because I was watching it Sunday morning and my family was in town and the last 15 minutes was all sappy talking after I told them how great the show was.

I thought it was a touch sappy, but Ollie and Tess were what brought it up to a C+.

I reall enjoyed tonights episode, it had it's touching moments with Lois's mom and then Clark with Lara and Jor El and some great twist with Granny Goodness. But who couldn't have seen the Lionel/Tess twist coming from a mile away? All in all I give this show a 4 out of 5

And Darkseid has been cast. 7'0 tall TNA wresteler Matt Morgan will play Darkseid starting around episode 20.

The scene with Granny and the 2 Darkside minions confused me. Are we supposed to believe that Clark just let her go and didn't try to bring her to justice or w/e.

lol, yeah the end was a little off with Clark just running off. Hopefully he at least saved the girl.

Kind of slow. It did pick up later with Lois's trip to The Fortress, but this episode was nothing to write home about. Granny Goodness wasn't that interesting.

Here's the full official description for "Luthor," the new Smallville airing on December 3:

JOHN GLOVER RETURNS AS LIONEL LUTHOR; — Tess acquires a Kryptonian box that once belonged to Lionel Luthor When Clark accidentally activates the box, he’s transported to a parallel universe where Lionel found Clark in the cornfields instead of the Kents. In this universe, Clark Luthor is a murderer and Lois is engaged to Oliver and both of them hate Clark. Clark must be careful not to tip off Lionel that he’s not his son while trying to figure out how to get back to Earth where the monster Clark Luthor was transported in his place.


I'm glad to see Lionel back but I was hoping we would see him kind of in memory scenes as the good Lionel Luthor. As much as I liked him in seasons 1-4 ans the bad guy, I think 5-7 was some of his best performances, as the good Lionel that had been helping Clark.

The Patriot episode was ok, but not great. It got to over the top with all the emotion towards the final 10 minutes. They are starting to add too much dialogue and less action. They are more and more making Smallville into the next Young and the Restless. I cant wait for the season to end.

These are just the episodes we are going to get this time of year, filler type shows, it'll pick back up. But Aquaman's wife sure was something nice to look at.

You guy do realize who Slade Wilson is?


He's Deathstroke the Terminator one the best villains in the DC universe. They're adding another "A" list antagonist to the endgame.

Its funny, once again Michael Hogan will play a character with an eye patch, like he did in Battlestar Galactica

You guy do realize who Slade Wilson is?

He's Deathstroke the Terminator one the best villains in the DC universe. They're adding another "A" list antagonist to the endgame.

Yes... it was. Smallville has been a little formulaic at times but that was pretty bad. I like the concept of using DeathStroke in the episode but the guy that would had played a much more convincing role would had been that crazy general from Avatar. He looks like he could kick anybody's @$$! And to say Smallville has gotten to that point of Danielle Steel status would be a mild understatement.
