Re: Smallville Season 10
I dont know what anyone else thought of tonights show but to be nice I'll just say it wasn't one of my favorites. I'm also getting tired of the were going to see Clark fly lies, if he's in a world like the matrix then he isn't flying.Last edited by Happy29; 02-05-2011, 05:45 PM.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Yeah, it was a terrible episode. I thought that this last season was going to go out with a bang and be good, but so far a lot of filler. In so many ways, I am glad that this show is coming to an end and it doesn't bother me at all.Comment

Terrible episode. They have one season left, can they really not think of enough meaningful content? I usually know what is going on, but I have no idea who the blonde chick was(not chloe)Comment

Black Canary she's been on and off since Lex's final season. Started out on the show working for him and is now part of the justice league“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Smallville Season 10
The CW has officially announced that "Smallville" will end its 10 season run with a 2-hour series finale.
"Paying homage to 10 seasons is no small task, and wrapping up each character and story arc has been extremely important to everyone involved in the show," says executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders. "We're excited to be able to make the final moments of Smallville a television event, as the character we've grown up with makes his legendary transformation."
The movie-length series finale will air on Friday, May 13.
I hope the last hour at least is a lot of Superman , flying the suit all the works“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Yeah. If one big knock that I have against this series is that there is just way too much filler episodes. I really think many 1 hr television shows would greatly benefit for 12-13 episode seasons like on FX. All the FX shows that I watch and have watched have just been perfect at the 13 episodes a season range. The problem with 20+ is that it allows for too much filler to be thrown in so the main overarching story can be stretched out.Comment

I hope something starts to develop. I really have no idea where the story is going, and it's not because they are good at keeping the ending a secret.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
Yeah, they only thing I have gotten out of this season is how we had Lex and Tess storyline for a part of the season and the Lois/Clark relationship. Not too much else going on and what is the goal of this season is still up in the air.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
As Smallville comes to an end and Clark Kent embraces his destiny as Superman, will we see the Man of Steel face off again with his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor? Sadly for Smallville fans, the answer seems to be no.
EW.com is reporting that Michael Rosenbaum has "repeatedly rebuffed" attempts by producers to get him to reprise his popular role as Lex in the show's series finale, airing May 13th. It's been extremely high on most Smallville viewers' wish lists to see Rosenbaum again before the show ends – and indeed a subplot this season about a young clone of Lex, who is rapidly aging, seemed aimed at giving Rosenbaum the door to return, despite Lex dying on the series a couple of years ago. Frequently asked about the potential for Rosenbaum to return, Smallville producers have continued to say the "door is open" should the actor wish to come back.
However, EW quotes a knowledgeable source, who tells them, "[Rosenbaum] has put the show behind him and moved on. He's pursuing his other creative outlet [writing]. By all indications, he is not going to be involved." Meanwhile, Rosenbaum has a guest role in the first episode of FOX's new comedy, Breaking In, as the love interest to Odette Yustman's character – a role which could be recurring.
As EW points out, there is still time for Rosenbaum to change his mind – but not a lot. Smallville has only three-episodes to shoot, including the two-hour finale, and will wrap production in the next six to seven weeks.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 10
I said as much more, but I thought Rosenbaum's early Lex was one of the most engaging and likable characters I have seen in any medium. The fact that his future transgressions were pretty much etched in stone, made his appeal even more impressive.
When the tide turn and his inevitable evil surfaced, I didn't care so much for him. He wasn't so much a compelling bad guy, as he was just a total a$$hole. I think they made him so likable early on that the audience wasn't crazy about Bad Lex.Comment
