Just would make the transition more stark...
    Agreed 100%.

I love McBride, but I don't think he is a good fit for this show, at all.

Jim should become the regional manager after Michael leaves, and possibly they had a salesmen as a new cast member.

And now Rhys Darby has joined the rumor mill.

      Please GOD let that happen.

No reason for this clip (aside from the fact that it's completely awesome). I just like The Office:

Honestly, once Carrell is gone, I'd rather them just cancel the show because, from then on, the show will just go downhill (which it's already doing).

On the other hand, it doesn't seem like it's been seven years since The Office started. Time flies.

But can't you just quit watching superjames? Why does it have to be canceled once he leaves? I've never understood fans of shows who desire it to be canceled once it doesn't meet their standards. I know I'm a huge X-files fan and once David Duchovny left it became awful but I never called for it to be canceled.

                Agreed.

Maybe for a drama, because if they run a drama too long it makes the ending bad and effects the series as a whole, but for the Office, I don't see how a few not so good seasons of the office is worse than no office.

100% agree. I'll never understand why a fan of a show would want it to be canceled.

I'm really looking forward to this starting back up. I really enjoyed last season.

Definitely-I'm sure McBride is capable, although I was not drawn in to his Eastbound & Down series. I threw the towel in after 3 episodes.

Season 6 out on DVD/Blu today. First time since I got into the show (which was the summer between seasons 3 and 4) that I won't be picking up a season on release day. I'm not anxious to relive season 6.

Thats because this version of the show HASN'T been around for 7 years. It started in 2005.

Just finished watching through all the seasons on DVD/bluray. Having just finished watching season 6 as well this year, I have no problem saying this series is as good today as it was when it first started. Absolutely love it, and I'll definitely be sad to see Michael go after this year.

I'm looking forward to this a TON though!
