Good episode. I've always been a Will Ferrell fan, and he definitely didn't disappoint.

Just watched the new epispode, was really good. I loved the interactions between Will and all the other actors.

I wasn't sure how this show was gonna fare without Steve, but I always on board to have it continue because it really does have some good actors. Will obviously might not be the permanent guy, but more and more I think it will be successful without Steve.

I thought it was pretty funny. It appears Will's "schtick" is going to be a somewhat bi-polar in how he acts (love the baby, quit the baby stuff!) as opposed to Steve's "schtick" of being very lacking at being self-aware (insulting everyone without knowing it). I like it!

I liked Will's character. I think I was expecting Ron Burgundy to step through that door so it was a little adjustment for me. I'd be wondering how they could only use a Ron Burgundy for three or four episodes. As it stands, Deangelo seems to be flawed enough to not pan out within the office, and I think that's obviously by design. Still, it's going to be fun to have him around. Watching Andy doing slapstick idiot stuff doesn't seem like it should have been funny, but it really was to me for some point.

Andy was hilarious, Kevin had some great one-liners.

Agreed. It wasn't the actual physical comedy that was funny, rather it was the thought that Andy unintentionally became the "funny guy at the office" and this is what he was going to have to do to get him to laugh and keep that role. Like he said, "This is my life now."

He's signed on for four episodes (three more). There is no plan to keep him past this short run.

I'm surprised he stayed on for 4 episodes. Didn't he do this as a favor? Isn't he still a $20 million per movie star?

He did it cause he said he's always been a big fan of the show and when he heard this was steve's last season he offered.

Yeah third post here. Ferrell has been a fan of the show and is a friend of Steve's, so when he heard that it was Steve's last season he told his agent he'd like to be on an episode, and NBA offered him four episodes.

There have been a lot of rumors over the past few weeks about if he will be on for more than the four episodes and actually join the cast next season. Lots of conflicting stories out there from it will never happen to Ferrell is having his schedule cleared and it is going to happen. A rumor that has popped up multiple times is the NBC made him an offer to star in the show starting next season and that they even shot multiple endings to this season based on what he decided.

Of course, these all need to be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, there isn't much that confirms anything at this point.

Personally, I really liked his character last week, and I would welcome him joining the cast.
