Later Saves the Day can be pretty grating but their older albums are what so much of that genre is based on. A building block to my musical tastes.

Stay What You Are was the pinnacle for Saves The Day for me. Not a bad song on that album.

I've been listing to a lot of Alt-J lately. I can listen to Fitzpleasure - Something Good - Breezeblocks - Bloodflood consecutively for hours

TEB is one of the most influential albums of all time because it gave us this:

None of their other albums have been able to come close to this one for me. Hard to believe it's 11 years old since this was a staple for my first Fall semester in college.

They get some radio play here, the couple songs they have on it are pretty awesome rock jams.

Self described "glam rock" so they're kinda a throwback.
