That is one of my favorite Genesis tunes from the Phil Collins era, this is another one. On tour, they take a pretty accomplished guitar player from the Milwaukee area, Darryl Sturemer, who started out playing in a local jazz/rock band called Streetlife in the 70's and 80's. They were the house band for the Bucks for quite awhile and the house band of the All-Star game in Chicago.

Phil introduces the band in the middle of the song and this is when Phil had some hair. lol

That Dire Straits album is underrated. Easily one of my favorite albums to listen to from start to finish.

^^ man I just listened to a cover of that track by As I Lay Dying last night, I had a minor jump when I saw the original song posted today lol

I love when bands cover Slayer because the music has always been so good, but I've always been a critic of the vocals, I'm picky I know, but hardcore punk type vocals have never appealed to me and that's how Slayer seemed in conjunction with incredible thrash/metal music.

It's a poor representation of my old thrash knowledge in general since it seems a lot of vocals were that way, but that's something that always held me back from the genre as a whole
