Love finding metal/rock bands from different parts of the world. District Unknown was from Afghanistan, these guys are Kenyan.Comment

Re: What are you listening to?
I do the same thing with metalcore/deathcore type bands
locally they have gotten kinda bland, then you find bands from like Japan or Singapore and they are really creative and at times goofy, which I likeWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: What are you listening to?
I was doing some tidying up in my attic and found a box of old stuff from high school and found a couple of burnt cd's I made around the Mid-90's.
Here's what I found on them:
Under The Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jeremy - Pearl Jam
Jump Around - House of Pain
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Everything About You - Ugly Kid Joe
Tennessee - Arrested Development
Informer - Snow
Runaway Train - Soul Asylum
I'm Gonna Be - The Proclaimers
Two Princes - Spin Doctors
Ordinary World - Duran Duran
Insane In The Brain - Cypress Hill
Boom! Shake The Room - DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
Livin' On The Edge - Aerosmith
Silver - Moist
Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
The Sign - Ace of Base
Fantastic Voyage - Coolio
Mmm Mmm Mmm - Crash Test Dummies
All I Wanna Do - Cheryl Crow
Loser - Beck
What Is Love - Haddaway
Waterfalls - TLC
Only Want To be With You - Hootie & The Blowfish
Cotton Eye Joe - Rednex
Kiss From A Rose - Seal
No Diggity - Blackstreet
Hook - Blues Traveler
Just & Girl - No Doubt
Hand In My Pocket - Alanis Morissette
I haven't heard a lot of these for several years now but it's amazing how you instantly remember word for word. I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast half the time, but I can instantly tell you the entire lyrics of songs from 25+ years ago.Comment

Re: What are you listening to?
Speaking of Japanese bands, Ningen Isu is worth a look if you like solid riffs and Sabbath like writing.Comment

Re: What are you listening to?
Stuck in my head because people wanted to have a 90s playlist blasting during the day.
