This is scary. Haven't watched it yet.

SNL hasn't been funny for about a decade.

Hey, it's one of these guys!
Go watch old episodes on Netflix/DVD/whatever - I think you'll find that every season has funny things and a lot (A LOT) of stuff that just doesn't land. This year (or the past decade) is no worse than any other random year.

It was...not great. A couple laughs, but I really expected more from Jamie Foxx. Not so much for comedic value, but just with his performance background, I thought it would help boost some sketches. It didn't.

Comedian for comedian, there is no cast that can hold a candle in terms of girth of consistent humor and creation of recognizable and quotable characters like the Carvey / Hartman / Meyers / Lovitz / Nealon / Hooks /Miller era.

As far as Foxx, he continues to show how blatant of a racist ******* he truly is.

Everyone says this about every generation. We've been down this road. Lets not start it again. Please.

Every generation has generated a couple people who headline a successful movie and I don't see anything different with this gen.

I was hoping foxx would have done at least 1 skit from in living color but oh well. Liked the ding dong interview.

                    Re: Saturday Night Live

In the rare occasion a former Living Color cast member does SNL, I always root for a Wayans brother, Tommy Davidson, David Allen Grier or even Jim Carrey cameo. This episode is still on my DVR, will flip through it later in the week probably, bummer that it wasn't a good one.

                      Re: Saturday Night Live

Hmm, I guess I didn't think it was that bad.

I found the monologue; Bitch, What's the Answer; Ding Dong; the crystals skit; Maine Justice; and even the one about the three black contestants trying to figure out the two white guys apart pretty funny.

More some than the others, but I didn't think it was much different than what I'm used to seeing on SNL.

Co-sign...I think it just depends on what "type" of comedy you're into. I even enjoyed the two digital shorts. But I enjoyed the show and enjoyed all of those skits. Overall it was one of my favorites this season.

Don't start with me on this. You love testing mods for whatever reason. I try to bury the hatchet and move on and months later you're back at it.

                            Let it go.

I thought "Bitch, What's the Answer" was funny for a minute, then they just didn't do anything with it. Moynihan actually shines in these types of sketches though - whenever he can play a kind of naive guy who doesn't know the situation he's involved in.

Ding Dong and the Crystals were funny - I forgot about them earlier. Still have no idea what Maine Justice was supposed to be, but I'm laughing at it watching it again online. Weird.
