General Zod and Faora are the enemies in this movie, both are Kryptonians like Superman. Should make for a good show.

I am so glad that Zod is going to be the main baddy, I don't think I could take Lex Luthor as the main villain again. If they decide to bring him in the second or third film than I'm ok with that. After Smallville and the past Superman movies, I wouldn't mind seeing some more of Superman's rogue gallery even though he has one of the weaker set of enemies imo. We could see Doomsday, Braniac, Bizarro, or Darkseid which would be quite cool in any of the sequels.

Yeah I really think we'll see Lex in the last few minutes of this film. I know at one point in Man Of Steel Superman will be arrested by the U. S. Military, so even though he will save the day in the end, I'm sure the majority of the military will still see him as a threat. If Lex is how I expect and not a low rate high ambitious criminal like in the previous films but instead the high class billionaire and CEO of LexCorp will Presidential dreams he will view Superman as an enemy and try his best to make him be seen as an enemy and threat to the world. I also wouldn't doubt if we saw Darkseid, or Brainiac in this series, I would save Doomsday for a Justice League movie as he would be the ultimate destroyer and be a formable foe for the entire JL.

Yeah I think having Brainiac play a small role alongside Zod in the beginning being a reason for the destruction of Krypton then featuring Lex intermittently throughout the film learning all he can about Superman and Krypton, then at the end of the film maybe having Lex find Brainiac and a way to get him to Earth to destroy Superman would set things up for a sequel really well. Any thoughts on that?

I actually like it, in that way it sets it up so that Lex would be involved in the 1st movie but not really that much of a factor but setting him up to possibly being the overall villain of the series. Just have to find the proper balance so that a majority of the movie Zod is the main villain.

I read rumors a few weeks ago that DC was done with any new movies after The Man of Steel for a few years. I don't know how true that is and what their plans are for the JLA film which almost feels like it could be several years away. They didn't do a good job like Marvel did in assembling The Avengers throughout their films the last few years.

Read on various articles that a Wonder Woman script is in the works as well and maybe the Flash too. I'm kind of excited that the Justice League could be happening, I know way more of them then I ever did of The Avengers(I admittedly never knew Iron Man was an actual superhero before his movie lol)

I heard that when they wrapped up Superman WB was pleased enough they went ahead and gave the sequel a green light.

It got nixed after a poor showing to the execs. They had a pilot filmed but was never released. Adrianne Palicki was chosen to play Wonder Women.
