Re: Back To The Future 25th Anniversary Re-Release In Theaters
I think it's insane that everyone loves this series so much. I have seen each movie two or three times, once by choice and twice/three times because I usually get out-voted when people see it on TV and I don't think I've enjoyed a single moment any of the times I've seen it.
Don't remember laughing, smiling, or being happy I saw any of them.
Now, I'm glad that those of you who love the movie will have a Blu-Ray version to watch and all that, so I'm not trying to rain on the parade...I just...don't get it, man. Don't get it at all.Comment

I could understand if somebody thought the series was overrated or "just didn't get it" but not enjoying not even a moment of it, its...its...its just baffling.

It baffles me, too, because usually I can find some enjoyment in any movie I watch. I mean I've "enjoyed" some really, really ****ty movies before.
But something about this series just...isn't enjoyable for me. I can't remember a single scene, or moment, or even part of the movie at all that I liked. Hell, I don't even remember what I didn't like.

Ok, we get it. You don't like it. It doesn't resonate with you. Now grab your Red Bull and get ready for more searingly funny episodes of Mary Shelley's Frankenhole and Squidbillies later tonight. It baffles me, too, because usually I can find some enjoyment in any movie I watch. I don't know man. Is it the plot? The execution? Acting? It's ALL memorable for me. Couple that with the nostalgia factor, I just....I don't know.It baffles me, too, because usually I can find some enjoyment in any movie I watch. I mean I've "enjoyed" some really, really ****ty movies before.

I love the idea of time travel and the nostalgia of watching this as a little kid is more than enough to make this one of my favorite movie(s) of all time. I used to push matchbox cars around with my TOMY trains, pretending I was going back to the future.

So after 25 years what did they get right when they went to the future? No flying cars yet and I been waiting and waiting for a hover board but we'll see. They did go to 2015 so we still got some time left.
-Video Conferencing
-Watching Multiple TV Channels at the sametime.
-Public cameras everywhere
-Up to date news, no papers though but goes straight to my droid!
-I remember future marty wearing tv glasses and those are out.
-Original Marty played a video game, and the kid talked about playing video games with his hands. Hello Kinect.
-Baseball team in Miami.
-Peronal Advertising. Video pop ups and such are what we experience today on the internet. Recommended products from Amazon and advertisings that google puts on your pages based on your searches.
So not bad, but they lose a lot of points for saying the Cubs will win a World Series by 2015.Comment

I got my ticket for the Monday showing in Pittsburgh today. Looking forward to it. It should be real fun in the theatre with better quality and technology.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? Love the first 2 and I hate time travel as plot devices in most movies.
3 though, that one got a little sillly for me. Not nearly as high for me.Comment
