My wife and I are watching the trilogy now. I really like the first movie. The second I remember really enjoying as a kid but when we watched it last week, it didn't do anything for me. I'm hoping the third movie is better.
The second was my favorite as a kid as well. And I hated the third. Then I got into westerns more and the third is my favorite one and the second is just kind of meh. Like a necessary bridge. Just seemed like the second was all over the place. Still liked it, but not one I just pull out and watch like BTTF 3.

That ending of the third was a perfect way to end the trilogy.

        They should do a remake.

The first film is nearly perfect, the 2nd was my favorite back in the day but looking at it now, it's not nearly as good as I thought it was. The time paradoxes of the 2nd film still makes it my favorite of the series and some of the scenes are some of the best of the series to me especially when Marty first arrives in 2015. The third movie was a bit of a dud for me as a kid but as i've grown to love westerns it's actually a pretty good movie on its own merits. I did think the ending of part two leading to 3 was a bit hamfisted but it more than makes up for that with a great ending to the trilogy.

I wouldn't touch it unless Zemeckis is involved somehow in the process.

Speilberg could be a good choice to direct it, but I think he's semi-retired now a days.

They can reboot it with Marty and his kids being in it. Kind of like how they're doing with the new vacation movie. And christopher loyd is still around.

Commercial for this week's The Goldbergs looks like it will be BTTF themed.
