I'll probably pick up SVR 2011 for $29 and inFamous and the GOW collection for $10 from Wal-mart. Not much out there has me all that excited or interested so far.

HDTV prices are very similar to Best Buy and Target.
Thanks man, I was hoping they'd come through or ever repost that LED tv again for 199 but ah well. I was also waiting on Frys but i have a feeling they wont come through for me either

I hooked it up. Nice picture, but it's small. Same size screen, but it takes up less up about 33% of the space that the CRT it replaced.

Yeah going into the stores, I saw the 26 inch tvs and they were small, but then again I have a 19/20 inch right now so its not like that would be a downgrade, but i'd prefer a 32 inch monitor. Id pay up to an extra 100 bucks if I can find the right deal but so far im not seeing alot of sales for tv's this small...only the 40 inch and up.

Its a pain trying to hold off, but I guess we'll see what happens on black friday and the day after

Good for a bed room tv. I have seen many Elements in person, they are a bare bones barely meet the requirement for HD type of a tv. The contrast ratio on it is low as hell for a 32 inch tv, but it works great as a PC monitor.

                  Re: Black Friday 2010

Im going to use the tv I get for my computer monitor but i also want to play a few games on it and also watch some netflix now and again all in the bedroom. (I already have a bedroom tv 42 in sony plasma)

This is just to upgrade the little 19 inch tv I have connected to my laptop that I've had for a few years, and no hdmi

If Element isnt worth it, they have a vizio 37 inch for a similar price coming out but who wants to stand out in the cold until 5am

If it is mainly for a PC monitor, get the Element, since damn near everybody I know that own it uses it for that purpose mainly. Not all Vizios have a PC input, that is something I noticed.

This Vizio will be about 100 bucks cheaper but how I'd get in that store and get it is beyond me

You can order it online and have it shipped to the store for free. Or see if Target has the same tv in the store. Usually Target and Walmart carry the same kind of tvs.

Looking at OfficeMax's ad, that seems to be a solid deal on the 26" Vizio. 1080p, so that's good. 100,000:1 contrast ratio. Hell, it even has built in Wi-Fi. All for $300.

Yeah thats the same one Walmart sold for 199 over a week ago.

If im going to spend 300 bucks its going to be for a bigger sized one for a few extra dollars, which is what we're talking about right now.

GMS... yeah Target is missing the mark with their prices. They have it but its priced higher which isnt a shocker
