As far as OLED goes, I would wait a while before investing. Anytime "new" technology is introduced, there's growing pains. We've seen lots of issues with burn in with OLED TVs so far. There's a reason LG is the only company to make them right now though. Samsung dropped out early last year.

Was TV browsing in Best Buy yesterday. Man, the costs of 4K sets have dropped. $1600- 2000 for 55 inch sets. I'm guessing $1200 or less for a similar 4K set next fall.

Not sure if the 5700 has an IPS Panel, but the 5800 does, which with viewing angles. With tax the purchase puts you right where you wanna be

I changed my mind about this TV after seeing a review and the input lag being very high. Not that I want this tv for gaming, but I might game a little on it.

The 47 inch LG tv I got is wonderful so far. The only downside is it only has 2 HDMI slots and I got 3 devices but other than that its great (I just swap the HDMI chords on the back of my PS4/Xbone).

I ended up opting out of the Smart TV LG 37 inch and instead got the non smart 47 inch LG of the same model for about the same price. More screen was better in my eyes then having the smart features that my PC (Thats hooked up to the TV anyway) can do.

I saw this and I'm interested. Anybody know anything about it?

Because I paid off my layaway for Sammy 51" plasma http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/PN51F5300AFXZA Just just haven't picked it up. Now I'm concerned about lag cause I game with the TV I buy. The LG is $50 more and 4" bigger. And I know LG has decent lag times. The TV I got now is my trusty Sammy 46" DLP I had for 7 years.

So dose any think that you will be able to get a 3d 4ktv for around $1000 that is 50-60 inches with in like 2 years? I have a 37 inch lcd sony tv that is 720p that upscale to 1080p. I have had the tv sences like September of 2007 and I just had to replace the lamp for the first time at the begging of the year. With the way tv and technology prices go down in time and with the lamp costing 200 for this tv. I figured once the lamp goes out again in a few years or so that I will upgrade and go with a tv around 55 inch or maybe even 60. My TV's sound sometimes goes out to and then I have to trune the tv of and then back on to get the sound to come back. I had never heard of 4k in till the begging of this year and I had never seen a 4k tv in till like 3 months ago when I saw one at best buy for the first time. I was shocked at how good the picture looked on the 4k tv. I did hear that viseo is comeing out with the first 4k tv around 1000 that is 50inch but I don't know if it is 3d to and I don't know how long in till that price will be a stander price. One last thing I have looked ever where on the internet for advice on picture settings for my tv and have not been able to find any. Does any one have this tv or know some one that does or a place to find picture settings for this tv?

That would be cool if they start to go down. I have seen a lot of 4k tv around the 50 inch for like 2000-2500 still. I was hoping they would have amazing spider man 2 on display at besy buy on a 4k tv has it is one of the best looking blu-rays I have seen before. Even on my 37 inch tv that is 7 years old and only 720p upscale 1080p it looks great. The tv I had before that was only 19 inches though so having a 37 inch tv is not bad lol. Its crazy how tv prices really technology goes down in price. When I got my 37 inch tv 7 years ago I payed $700 for it and that was on sale has it was normaly $800. Know you can get similar tvs like I have for like $300 sometimes even like $200 and know you can get like 50 inch hdtv's for like $700 maybe even a 60 inch.
