Typically, the first HDMI port is reserved for the set-top-box because there aren't lag concerns, while the second one is reserved for movies and gaming in case of those issues (there are other reasons, but I won't get into them). I guess you can try that?

Then there's anything regarding what kinds of post-processors you have enabled. Anything that sounds like a filter, enhancer, booster, etc. can and probably should be turned off for the sake of your picture (if you got it calibrated, they would do the same thing before tweaking). You said you went through the audio settings, so I don't know if there will be other remedies.

    How noticeable is it?

Blzer, I think switching it from HDMI 4 to 1 worked! Appreciate it.

This is the best looking hdtv I've ever owned in terms of picture quality. It's absolutely stunning.

Scott, I went with CNET's settings. I can't get over how incredible the picture is. Really pleased with my purchase. If I had the funds, I'd replace my family room tv. Maybe after I win the Power Ball.

I thought it would maybe be even more just because it is new. I remember back when bluray first came out the movies where like $40.

I don't have a 4k TV yet but if movies where to came out and not cost to much and came with a regular bluray to or something I would maybe start getting 4k movies so that way I would have them when I do get a 4k tv and don't have to miss it or rebuy them to get the 4k.

I think I heard that ps4 could 4k but would need a update and that it would be just for movies not games. I think next gen we will start to see some 4k games.

Bought a 4k compatible av receiver at best buy earlier today. Getting ready to buy a 4k TV and I can't wait. I want a 65-70 inch tv. I want to see what these tv companies bring to the table this year.
NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.

I want to get a 4k TV my self but they still kind of cost a lot of money but are going down. My current TV is about 8.5 years old 720p LCD that upscale to 1080p and some times the sound goes away and I have to turn the TV off and then back on to get the sound back. I think once the lap goes out that I had replaced about 2 years ago that I will upgrade. I hope by then I can get a 55-60 inch 4k 3d TV for around $1000 or less.

For $830, Thinking about going back tomorrow and buying it if its still available. I wanted the 65'' but would settle for 60" at that price.

Primarily watching sports and PS4 (The Show & NBA 2K). I also watch a good amount of movies, but don't see why the 60/120 thing would be a factor, there. But then again, my knowledge is limited, so I could be mistaken.

I was really disappointed in this tv.
I bought it right before xmas, kept it for 2 days and took it back.
The picture was horrible. Traded it in for the Vizio m series.
                              The m series is amazing.
