Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Just browsing Amazon.com (free shipping and no taxes in most states) there are several 46" 120Hz LCDs from Sony, Samsung and LG. LEDs in that size marks the price up to $900-1200 with no extra features.
This might be worth a look: http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-47TL51...291812&sr=8-23
For $50 extra you get:
47 inches
240 Hz
LED
wifi (smart tv)

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Looks like a solid set and the price is definitely right....assuming it's in good working order. Have no idea about TigerDirect's warranty policy.i've been looking at this one, even though it is refurbished...

EDIT: The same LG you linked to also comes in a bundle for the same price. You get a free wall mount included. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...70858&csid=_22
Not bad.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 05-19-2012, 10:22 AM.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Okay, I've come to the point where I want a big huge Mofoin' TV. A Plasma, I have decided. I have fallen in love with their refresh rate since I watch a ton of sports and play a ton of sports video games.
My Max price would be $800 and I'm looking for a 50+ inch set.
Any suggestions, fellas?Comment
