The P 65 is FALD, but the problem is the input lag is low for SDR, but only one HDMI port and that's port #5. It's 17ms in game mode on that port. On every other port it's 34ms for SDR content in game mode but HDMI port #5 doesn't support HDR and ports 1-4 with HDR the input lag is 65ms. The ks8000 in game mode is 20ms and 22ms with HDR Gaming. The picture is great on this set you won't regret it. How can you get the 65 inch model for $1500? Lol. When I bought the tv it was $2200 and got Best Buy to give me a credit and I got the tv for $1799.

Question it looks like this tv doesn't have inputs for old system like gamecube, SNES etc. Is there any way to buy something that would add inputs so you could play old games? I didn't know that finding a 4k tv that plays old games would maybe be a issue.

To be honest I don't play any of those old systems anymore so I wouldn't know. But for everything else this tv does a great job.

From looking at reviews it sounds like this is a really good TV. Like is balanced it what it does while and has no big issues just small ones. But I was surprised when I saw it didn't have inputs for old systems. I thought all TV's had those kind of inputs. I was thinking about maybe getting a 4k tv and was trying to find something between 50-60 inch for 1000 or less. This TV is the closest to being 50-60 inch and 1000 and that is a really good 4k tv not just a bottom 4k tv. But I need to be able to play old games. I still like to go back and play old games from time to time. Would this maybe be something I could use with that TV so I could play old systems on? https://www.amazon.com/Panlong-Switc...P2GF6NPCZNGFH6
I have heard people say that old systems don't look good on regular HDTV's but I have never had that problem my self so I don't think it would be different on a 4k TV.

I feel so lost trying to buy a 4K/HDR tv. I'm trying to find a good one to get for my 4K gaming needs but I just feel overwhelmed on what to get. I also heard not every 4K tv looks great, so I really don't know we're to start on this matter. Plus they are tons of money still. Ughhh... any help?

This is the tv I recently bought and it's great. I also bought the vizio 65 P series and I returned the vizio and stood with the Samsung. Great gaming tv with very low input lag even with HDR gaming. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ks8000

The only thing that is keeping me from going with the LG OLED set is the size. I currently have a 70" and the OLED sets only come in 65". Don't know if I can handle the smaller screen or not.

Yea I hear you. Once you go a certain size it's hard to go back down. I don't think 5 inches would be too noticeable though. I myself will also get an OLED, but when the prices come down a bit.

I got the 65 inch ks8000 today. I haven't had a chance to game on it yet, but watched an episode of Luke Cage on Netflix and the 4K picture is amazing. Watching a baseball game on it now on cable and that looks good too.

Sounds like this is one of the better 4k TV that does not cost a arm and a leg and I would like to get the 49 inch one but the thing is it doesn't have inputs for playing old consoles on it only HDMI inputs. I have looked and I don't know if there is any thing you can but with it so you can play old consoles and I need a tv that I can still play gamecube, SNES, wii etc on.

I'm pretty sure most receivers still have older inputs and can still output to the tv via HDMI.

Maybe most do but if you look at this TV all it has is HDMI inputs and old systems don't use HDMI. So if I got this TV I would need some kind of add on for the TV that has like composite, component inputs etc.

I can't speak for these newer TV's, but both of my Samsung plasma TV's come with little breakaway component cables that attach into a small slot on the panel itself.

That, or I'm sure they have some sort of HDMI-to-whatever analog converter like you said.

I am not sure how easy and how cheap it is to find a HDMI to whatever analog converter though.

Around 40 bucks on Monoprice. No idea how good it works. Should be OK though.
