    Sorry I know, more questions.
Movies are broadcasted in 24 frames per second.

The higher the frame rate, the better.

More so that 120 is a multiple of 24. 60 is not, and with 60Hz sets you get 3:2 pulldown, it causing judder with motion. 120Hz sets do not as they can use 5:5 pulldown.

At the end of the day, it still not a reason to not pick up a 60hz set, cause you can beat this with a stick all day, only time you will tell is if both 120hz set is sitting right next to a 60hz set. Honest Its not that big of a deal, and you can do all the research you want and most articles will say the same.

Well you won't find high end 60 hz panels.

Depends on who you're talking to. I'm a big stickler for motion. Why do you think I still own a plasma? Watching my friend's LG B6 OLED right now, and while downright sexy, the technology's motion bugs me. Same with LCD/LED.

Heck, I have to go to 60Hz for 3D on my Samsung (it doesn't work right with 24Hz) which is fine, but when I forget to switch it back and watch another Blu-ray, I immediately say: "What's wrong with my set?" Then I realize that 24Hz is off, and I put it back and all is right again.

Judder is a big issue with movies. I guess it just depends on how many movies he watches, and how much that matters.

Just picked up the a 55” Sony X900E. Best Buy has a great deal on it this week.

Now, I’ve just got to make a choice on what 4K console to get.

Does the old adage, “an HDMI cord is an HDMI cord” ring true as it relates to 4K viewing? Associate tried to sell me on a $50 HMDI cord. I’m not against paying for it if it legitimately changes the viewing/sound experience, but if it functions the exact same as a $10 cord, I’ll pass.

You need to make sure it's HDMI 2.0b rated in order to receive that 4K signal.

I would also imagine whatever you're buying (PS4pro, XBoneX, etc) come with a compliant cable with it too....

I’m looking at either the 55 inch MU8000 or Sony X900E. $100 difference in price at Best Buy. Which do you suggest? I know that rtings has the Sony rated as the best mid range model. Also already have a ps4 Pro.

Even as the Samsung Expert at Best Buy, I can admit the 900E is the better tv.
