I’m 12 or so feet away for regular tv watching and about 5 or so for gaming. Mainly for regular tv watching I feel I could have gone bigger but the cost was really prohibitive. Either way it’s a beautiful tv and very happy with my purchase.

I figured...see stuff like that all the time listed as sales and I know it can't be great.

You know what they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is

I'm starting to feel like the most important thing in a new TV for me is watching sports. I watch more sports than anything else. It's also important to have true HDR for gaming though.

So basically I think I need a native 120hrz panel. And the FreeSync on the NU8000 might be what I need. Plus it does good HDR for games as well, right?

I'm thinking this might be the best value for what I need. But always willing to listen to other options.

But I feel like this TV just kinda meets me in the middle.

But I am also thinking about going up a bit to get the Q6F

Very nice tv, only thing I hate is the input lag being 26ms but that is good enough for casual gaming

It is great for sports and great for gaming in terms of performance

But HDR gaming and picture quality for movies is superior on the TCL

Anything but the Q8FN or Q9FN on samsung be inferior to the TCL for movies and hdr gaming.

Sports better on the 120hz. But none of those Samsung sets are FALD like the TCL...They are all edge lit except the Q8FN and Q9FN

im still rocking my panasonic plasma from like 2010.
i love the picture on the 90 pound beast.

only problem is the usb ports dont have enough power to power up the rokus or firesticks.
Is this a common problem or is something wrong with my set???

Ya I don’t notice any sort of lag whatsoever. Ratings.com rated it pretty high for gaming as well.

I really like the TCL but don't want to have something that deals with the same pitfalls with sports that I have now. So I'm kinda in a conundrum.

I would look it up and see, but probably just not designed to put out power. Older usb ports just put enough out to power the flash drive, not run a streaming device.

If a flash drive works, then you would need to find out how many amps it should be supplying.
