"Is anyone else's mind totally blown?"

Agreed with RockinDaMike. The show doesn't seem to be spectacular, but the mystery is the addiction. At least I understand how they're going to deal with each episode, and if all serves well we might have over 300 episodes, one for each prisoner and guard who vanished from the island.

I'll be tuning in next week before House, but I don't expect this to be the best new series on television or anything. At the very least, I want to at least catch this one from the beginning unlike LOST, which ended up being for better or worse that I didn't want to stick around for it.

Intriguing. Second hour was better than the first, got me into it. I will be tuning in each week.

Probably because they have her playing a bad *** homicide detective and she isn't very good at making us believe she is.

New name for the show: Lostcatraz or Alcalost which one?

I didn't much care for it, at it's core it was a very bland police procedural. The other side of the coin seemed pretty bland as well, they just didn't do a good job making it something I care to find out about. It won't make my DVR.

                  1. I quite liked it. It was interesting and intriguing. Good enough.

                  2. More of that ill-fitting, too tight white shirt that whatever the lead actress's name is was wearing during that scene where she was washing the blood off herself.

                  3. An issue I have with this is at the end of the pilot when they offer Becky (?) the job and go on and on about how she can't tell anybody close to her about it. Right now, at this moment, there isn't a character on the show that's close to her that doesn't already know. She appears to have no life outside of this job.

Umm, wow, that sounds JUST like Fringe.

And since Fringe has maybe one more season left, I'm totally okay with that.

I really enjoyed the pilot. I love the Lost style so I'm fine with all of the comparisons.

The comparisons will be there. We already know why. I do think that aspect of it is intriguing. I just don't have faith in network television anymore.

I'd be happy to catch up on the show when it's in Season 2 or 3 and going strong. If it is.

I liked the first 2 hours...I'll be interested to see the "normal" episodes as they come, to learn what a regular week will be like (more consistently).

Missed last weeks two hour opener so I'm a bit lost on what everone's roll is and such but I liked tonight's episode and will be watching the rest of his season.

Once again, it is filled with quite a bit of mediocrity, but has the substance to last if they want it to.

I don't know if it will attract all LOST fans, especially the female crowd (you'd be surprised), but I think I realized part of my attraction for the show comes from the fact that this is in my neighborhood. Not many shows/movies are in San Francisco, and since they're roaming around the Bay Area a bit, I can't wait till they call out San Mateo or Burlingame for some reason.

I kinda liked the episode, but my GF wasn't a fan (mostly cause it was super creepy child killer themed and she doesn't like that stuff).

I like the interaction among people, and there's a lot of mystery going on, just needs a few more eps to get everything more "normal". They're still explaining a lot of stuff, which makes it tough.
