His brother was alot more likable before this episode. I can'y believe they haven't inked the rematch yet. They need money, alot safer and more profitable getting it in the ring than fighting some crazed MMA guy in an underground club.

Yeah, I rather fight Tyson with gloves than that madman.

Yeah, wouldn't it have been easier to just tell his wife he's taking the rematch for 5 million instead of fighting the MMA goon for $50k. Love the show, but doing all this crazy and mostly illegal stuff instead of just taking the rematch doesn't make any sense.

Good episode other than the silly fight scene. I'll just write off the "world class" MMA fighter comment as Chen being full of crap.

EDIT: I forgot to mention how cute the youngest daughter was at the beginning when stuffing those muffins in her mouth.

You think a heavyweight champion couldn't beat a world class MMA fighter? Lights is a tough dude with a killer punch. In this mythology he won his first 20 fights by KO.

I thought the fight scene was awesome.

I thought it was a bit of a stretch getting out of some of the holds, but the throat punch was awesome.

I thought the fight scene was awesome.

Yeah a boxer could win pretty easily if the fight stays standing. Once the fight hits the ground it would be over very quickly. Strength is meaningless. You don't power out of an armbar like that unless you want your are broken. You don't just throw someone off of you when they are in full mount and supposed to be world class. Also a rear naked choke is not a windpipe choke like they made it seem.

And on the other side if a world class boxer lands the kind of punches Lights did at the beginning the MMA guy would be done pretty quickly.

If you guys don't watch MMA I really don't expect you to care about this nearly as much as I do. But they did take a giant dump on MMA this episode.

Yeah the fight took some liberties because the bottom line is it's over if one uses their specialty first. I don't think they dumped on MMA because in the bar all the TV sets were set to an MMA match rather than a world welterweight championship fight.

The ratings are pretty bad though. After the season opener right around 850,000 per week. Compare that to fellow FXs Sons Of Anarchy at 4.9 million an episode.

Maybe not. Terriers was hanging at 500,000 or below for most of their season. Of course they got cancelled.

Its a bad time slot, I am sure alot of people they aren't counting are DVRing it.

People are silly, they would rather watch reality garbage than a good drama. I bet that you could just have a reality show about people farting and it would do better than most dramas.

I hope this show lasts, its the only show I am watching right now.
