Wanted to get you guys viewpoint on the Hulk...

Why was the Hulk so out of control during his first transformation? Was he under Lokis spell? or was he just so overwhelmed by the explosion he couldn't control his emotions?

The Incredible Hulk movie hinted that he was gaining control while in Hulk form, and he obviously displays that during the movie. They don't really address it though. His convo with Tony in the lab would lead you believe he was still having issues controlling Hulk as well

I think he transforms two ways: Willingly and Uncontrollable Rage Monster.

The first transformation was URM because of the explosion, they were all bickering with each other and perhaps because of Loki's spell (though it isn't really verified if he was getting influenced). The second one, he willingly transformed which is why he was interacting with the rest of the Avengers and even talking.

I think the key-line to understanding the Hulk in this universe is Banner's line before he transforms in NYC - "I'm always angry."

My favorite was definitely when Thor was talking to all of the team and he says "He's my brother." He killed 80 people in 2 days. "He's adopted?"



Either that, or Hulk just smashing the **** out of Thor's head after they both land in NYC. The theater definitely laughed the hardest at that.

Also, anybody see the movie in 2D? I wanted to see it in 3D but my friends didn't so I saw it in 2D. I felt like the picture quality wasn't up to snuff.

We saw it in 2d at an all digital (DLP) theater. It looked great, IMO.

Same here, PQ was excellent. My only complaints were the usual complaints I have when I go to movie theaters: people not knowing how to act in public.

This dude sits down, lounges out in his seat getting comfortable grunting and **** until he figures it out. He sits through all the movie trivia, previews, then the "Turn off your cellphone" request and waits for the movie to start. Five minutes after the movie starts during Scarlet's first scene, he pulls out his cellphone and makes a call. No one called this idiot, he makes a call. He looked through his contacts and found someone he wanted to talk to, and hit "Send".

Then he proceeds to have the loudest ****ing conversation to whoever about how so and so lied about him going to jail. He never went to jail, that's a lie. He did get into a little bit of trouble doing such and such but he never went to jail and so and so was lying about that.

This lady behind him went to get an usher and the usher went and got a policeman who took him out for a few minutes. He came back quieter outside of frequent grunts when he couldn't get comfortable in his chair.

At the end of the movie he's like, "Nah you can't go nowhere yet because sometimes they trick you and have stuff after." So when that extra stuff comes up he's all proud and bragging like, "I told ya, they always do stuff like this." After that he started with his speculation "That was Galactagus right? That guy at the end was Galactagus, he likes to eat the planets. "

About the after the credits scene:

Thanos, I wonder if they are going to go the infinity gauntlet route? If so thats a lot of stuff for just one movie.

And for the Hawkeye and Black Widow: They are just humans trained to their peak.

Black Widow can go into any situation and come out with information and has tech gauntlets that allow her to hold her own. Not to mention the athleticism in combat. She is really deceiving.

Hawkeye has marksman abilities that rival even AI aiming. Not to mention he has a variety of Arrow tips that can do everything from being grappling hooks to Explosive tips to Armor piercing. He also is exceptional in Hand to Hand combat with just using his bow however prefers to be at a well place distance away from combat.

Nick Furry is different. He has been everything. Good guy, bad guy, nanite god (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2), etc..Only thing that was consistent is that Stark never trusted him or Shield. Even in the Civil War story he was still wary of Shield even thought the registration act was their idea. Im guessing in the Avengers movie(s) he will be the good guy.

I thing they should do the Kree and Skrull war. If they did however they would have to introduce Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel and a whole bunch of others.

Definitely revoked. Galactus is 28 feet tall and eats planets, or in Fox's world is a cloud. Super Skrull was actually a decent guess since he and Thanos have a similar look in some renderings. Super Skrull won't be apart of this until the Fantastic Four is back under Marvel Studios control, until then, Fox has them and the Skrull empire.

I can't wait to see where this goes. My guess is Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2 (the 3 currently in production) will lead into the Infinity Gauntlet storyline. Then culminating in Avengers 2.

It was funny, everyone in the theater was trying to figure out who Thanos was, and my 3 year old son goes "That's Thanos!" LOL I was so proud

Now the question is how long until this guy shows up.
