Yeah I definitely like Mos Def's character and think he's doing a grab job of playing the role. Liking his role and portrayal a lot better than HanksComment

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Spoilerdead, because he obviously existed at one time.
Great episode, I think the supporting characters are really doing the job from Mos Def to the new guy Mike*.

SpoilerThis past week when Colin Hanks and Edward Olmos were sitting in that restaurant, the girl gives coffee to Colin completely ignoring Olmos. She didn't even ask him if he needed anything.Comment

I'd be more impressed if EJO's character was alive at this point.

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Phenomenal episode this week imo. You know a script is well written and the actors at the top of their game when they can have such a long conversation scene and keep it captivating the entire time.
Already enjoying this season 100x more than last season (which while still good, was sub par for what I've come to expect from Dexter).Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
But, I also had a hard time placing Mike until I saw your post.
I think it's official that the Professor is no longer living. He obviously was once alive and the writers threw in a little bone with the "He's underground" line from Batista.
Also, the way he was watching the two love birds in the room was beyond creepy even for a living person.
What I find more fascinating is that they are acknowledging there are two killers and we know there are two, but no one is saying that both are different people.
Travis appears to have dissociative identity disorder, but I think it's a bit more complicated than that because his other identity manifests in the soul of a once living person.
He pretty clearly woke up in the middle of the night and tied the girl up before returning to sleep. He's Grade A crazy."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

It's possible that he is in fact the Professor, and at some point he had a mental breakdown and now he simply pictures himself as Hanks character taking commands from what is essentially himself (think of it like a reverse Fight Club situation)Comment

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
While it's looking like that is a good possibility, its not necessarily the case CMH. I agree they are one person, but perhaps that person isn't Hanks character, perhaps it is Olmos' character.
