Didn't Paul Pierce used to rap like a while back?

I could've sworn I remember hearing this dude rap and the only I remember was that he was bragging about having an Xbox

A.I. without a doubt. My friend sent me the video of Kobe and Tyra performing at ASW and I needed two weeks to recover from watching that.

Though anyone who plays 2K already knows this.

This song blows away all others when it comes to athlete-rappers

It's a toss up between Pac/Eminem. Both had/have such excellent flow, Eminem's play on words is second to none, but I think Pac's delivery was better. Rakim would be a close third.

Yes but he wrote NOTHING on his own (Cube, Snoop, and The D.O.C. wrote his rhymes) therefore disqualified....

Technically, that was just a verse, not a whole song. But, I remembered being impressed when he brought it. I think he put the Fu-Schnickens on the map.

Let me also add that Kris deserves some shine....he is at the very least the greatest battle rapper of all time.

I don't think DMX was capable of making a playa song such as "How Do You Want It" or a "Heaven Aint Hard to Find". He's not capable of making a deep song such as "Who Do You Believe In." I could probably think of a few more examples, but I'm tired. The point is, DMX did evoke emotion on the mic (as well as Scarface), but Pac had more range.

I'm only 29 and not a NY'er, so I didn't grow up on Rakim. Now I am familiar with some of his songs, and I think he's dope...but I can't say he's my favorite because I grew up in a different era of hip hop (mid 90s).

Shocked that Dr. Dre's name was mentioned. The fact that he single-handedly wrote zero songs on 2001 should disqualify him, no matter how good The Chronic was.

                            Anyway, I'd personally rank them:

                            1A. Eminem
                            1B. Tupac
                            1C. Biggie
                            2. Nas

                            Honorable Mention:

                            Andre 3000
                            Jay-Z
                            Talib Kweli
                            Common
                            Royce Da 5'9"
                            T.I.
