Seriously, I love the honesty she displays there even though it could come back to haunt her.

If ESPN fired her over those comments, she'd have plenty of job offers.

I'm intrigued by this book. I might pick it up at $14.99.

EDIT: Yep, just put in the order. I never realized this, but this is the first thing I've ever bought from Amazon. Weird.

Just put in my order. I can't wait. I hope there's more honesty like Beadle has throughout the book. I hope it's not all fluff.

Needed something to read on break at work, so I dropped 20 on this behemoth of a book today. Really interesting stuff so far. Still getting through the beginning stuff about the formation and early days of ESPN. I imagine it will only get better as more and more people that I've heard of are introduced. Right now the only people that I've heard of in this book are Berman, Bob Ley, and Dick Ebersol.

If you read Deadspin, they've already covered all the juicy stuff in the book.

The first 250ish pages are pretty dry.

I wish there were more pages devoted to Bill Simmons, ESPN.com, and Colin Cowherd.

The one thing I leared was that a company had a 6 figure offer for Rome/Everett making fun of their incident for a commercial but Rome turned it down.

Mark Shapiro also won't be getting a Christmas Card from Gary Bettman.

ESPN has 400 employees that live in Bristol, the only three chicks we care about getting it don't live there and probably never went a single one of those parties. Is that an excerpt from the book (doesn't really sound like one) or do you frequent Texas Longhorn forums?

Everything got hazy for me after reading that she watched the video...

I heard that it was mentioned in the book that Beadle hooked up with Barnaby before his marriage crumbled. Not sure if accurate though.

There's no mention of Barnaby in the book.

Are you trying to make Dayman think his dream woman is a home wrecker?

                                I've read it several places.

If I had any sort of moral compass I'd probably care. But I don't.
