All the regular midnight showings in Tally are sold out not a fan of 3D otherwise i could still go.

Also the ministry of magic makes sure that muggles don't see this Wizardly side of the world. I do like the approach that Sorcerer apprentice took about how a wizard uses their whole brain power and that is what made them be able to do their stuff. I thought that was a pretty cool approach.

Do we know what makes one a wizards in Harry Potter. I would assume it is a passed down gene?

We do and we don't. Genes have a lot to do with it, though.

The majority of the time, it's passed down through blood lines.

Two Wizard Parents (aka Pure blood) = Almost certain to have the ability.
One Wizard and one Muggle (aka Half blood)= Good chance, but not certain.

There's also the unexplained, such as muggle borns with the ability and those who are born to be pureblood , but don't possess the ability (squibs).

Ah, sometimes I think I know too much about this stuff.
