Re: The Walking Dead (Season 2)
If not for the last 5 minutes of episode 3, I was ready to abandon this show.
Great ending and to me, it completely saved this series.
Still, I cannot stomach any scenes with Rick or Lori. They are the worst actors I've ever seen. I hate how Rick always has to tilt his head and get within 2" of the face of the person he's talking to. Or how he has to always grab the back of everyone's neck.
Sophie's still missing? Who cares. Can we move on already?
I'm all in with Shane now. That is the first realistic action I've seen any of these characters take so far this year.
Bring on more of that please!
And if Merle does make an appearance, please make it as soon as possible.
I hope he, Shane, Daryl and T-Dawg kill every one of these sadsacks.
I cannot state enough how unemotionally attached I am to anyone except for those I mentioned above. I find myself rooting for the zombies each and every week in hopes they tear them a new one.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 2)
No.
Spoiler-ish I guess so I'll put it in one.
SpoilerThat interview I posted earlier said they filmed in a prison so I would assume they get to that. Then stuff starts to go down or it should anyway.
Episode 5 to be specific, just watched it again the other day.Comment

SpoilerIf they're getting to the Prison then I'm hoping Michonne shows up as thats about where she joins the story. Though i'm sure everyone will hate that she carries a samurai sword with the way this show is trendingHELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 2)
So did the people who are saying that they don't care about the characters this season actually care about the characters last season? Did you care about Amy or Jim or Jacqui? We didn't know a lot of backstories about them other than Amy and her sister's story about their Dad and Jim killed his wife and kid. I don't recall anything about Jacqui, but I don't remember many complaints about them last year.
So what's the difference this season? I mean, I know that the first two or three episodes of season 1 were completely bad *** ,but the last few aren't that much different than season 2 --- soap opera acting and all.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 2)
Was Jim the guy they left on the road? Yes, I thought he was a good character. We at least saw him lose his mind a bit and understood why. I thought there was enough drama with Amy and her sister to have some interest. I don't know who Jacqui is.
The main difference for me is those stories didn't drag on and on. We weren't agonizing over leaving Jim behind for 3 straight episodes. Those characters had endings that weren't rehashed every week. They had issues and they were resolved and the story moved forward.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 2)
The main difference for me is, while I didn't care about the characters much last season, they had all of what, 6 episodes? I was willing to give them some time to develop the characters and make the viewer attached. Instead in season 2 they have dragged their feet and sort of spun their wheels with the plot. The last episode was much better than the beginning of this season, but the fact remains, if this is a show about the characters, when are you going to flesh that out? Is searching for a 12 year old girl for 3 episodes during a zombie apocalypse entertaining? To me it just seems like lazy writing. I could care less if Carl lives or the girl is ever found. I'm much more interested in finding out what ever happened to the father and son who helped Rick out and Merle from season 1.
So far in this shows entire run they have made me care about one, maybe 2 characters in their crew. I'll still be watching, mainly because the people I am with sunday nights refuse to watch anything else, but this series has alot more potential than what it has been showing. This show has glimpses of greatness, but the overall effort falls short to me.Go Yankees
