Daryl fell off the horse on his second trip. The first trip he came back with the Cherokee Rose (and subsequent story) for the mother of the missing girl.
Thanks Fresh for clearing that up. Now that doesn't make sense that he never said anything about the blanket in that closet.......unless he thought otherwise.

I noticed on Amazon they had hardbound volumes of TWD comics for I think it was around $35. I'm actually now interested in reading these comics, is this the best way to get caught up on them? Are they on issue #98 or so right now?

I think I saw aniamls out there in the last episode.... I even mentioned to my wife how come the walkers hadn't attacked them.

Don't get me wrong, she's still mayor of Whoreville. But I can kind of see it happening.
I don't blame Lori. It seems like the world is going to hell and according to her best friends husband, her husband is dead, plus everything else you said.

I wouldn't buy the hardcovers unless that's what you really wanted. You should be able to get the TPBs for $10-15.

Season 1 stays pretty close to volume 1 and while the locations for season 2 have been the same thus far, the differences in the stories and characters are vastly different.

As far as Daryl goes, I think he knew from the get-go that the girl wasn't staying in the house. I would think a child would either stay in the house or stay close to the house during the day and not go venture off. I'm pretty sure Daryl knew somebody else was staying there (as the previews suggest).

And yes, there are cows on the farm. I'm not sure why the walkers aren't being attracted to not only the cattle, but the lights from the farmhouse at night.

I wouldn't mind the TPB's since their cheaper. How many issues are there per trade and how many TPB's are there total?

I believe there are 14 TPBs and the series is still going with a weekly comic. I'm not sure how many comics are included in each TPB, but I figure its 6 as that seems to be the norm.

Amazon is having a 4-for-3 sale and it appears like the TPBs are eligible.

I think that zombie down in the well was a member of that "house-family" or something and was perhaps tossed down there or imprisoned. That family is starting to give me the creeps a bit.....and IIIIIIII Like IT!!!

I think they did based on Maggie's reaction. Plus it was wearing jeans and how'd a zombie get in a well to begin with? Like I said, that scene was more valuable than just gore.

And when Glenn asked her about being distraught and was it because she never seen one killed up close before, she basically ignored him.

Yes...absolutely....I don't think you go through the initial stages of a zombie apocalypse and manage to maintain a zombie free farm without making a few zombie omelets.
